Just like the title says, I have a 2012 Ram 2500 Laramie for sale.  This truck was purchased New, by me, in February of 2012.  It has every option that was available on these trucks except for the rear seat entertainment.  This truck was and still is my dream truck.  There is still a small lien on the truck.  The truck was built to be a reliable 600hp daily driver.  Everything was done right from the beginning.  Never Smoked In!  Never driven in the snow.  Never was in an accident.  The truck was mainly driven to truck shows and short road trips and to haul my 24' boat.

Probably forgetting a couple things so feel free to ask questions. The truck was built by myself and everything was done right. Its been nothing but good to me over the past couple years. Everything works as it should with no issues and has been 100% reliable. If you are not familiar with any of the items listed above I highly recommend you do some research to get a feel for what has actually been done to the truck.  Im not the type of person to add up every penny I've spent building this truck.  Kelly Blue Book and NADA both value the truck in Stock form at $46,000+...To put this truck into perspective the transmission alone is $9,000+.

Please feel free to ask questions...

The price in my opinion is very fair and fairly firm...

Ward's Automotive Ten Best Engines of 2014 dominated by diesels, turbos

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

With the Car and Driver Ten Best decided, the North American Car and Truck of the Year finalists announced and Cadillac, Ram and Subaru chalking up wins with Motor Trend, it's fair to say that the automotive awards season is in full swing. The next set of trophies to be handed out will be from Ward's Automotive, which has announced the winners of its 2014 10 Best Engines.
The latest contest was marked by the widespread emergence of diesel power and the continued success of turbocharged engines. There was even an electric motor on this year's list. In fact, only three of the ten winners were naturally aspirated and only two winners returned from last year.
"We weren't looking to throw the bums out, as they might say about an election. We were just really impressed with the flood of new powertrains," said Ward's Automotive Editor-in-Chief Drew Winter. Those new powertrains include the 83-kilowatt electric motor from the Fiat 500e, the 1.0-liter, EcoBoost three-cylinder from the Ford Fiesta and the 2.0-liter turbodiesel from the Chevrolet Cruze.

Auto journo learns hard way that new vehicles burn differently than old ones

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Terry Box, a writer for the Dallas Morning News, was tootling down the Dallas North Tollway in a Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn pickup after work and enjoying the ride. Box thought the $53,335, option-filled press loaner had been "flawless - very serious competition for anything built by Ford or Chevy." And then, for reasons that still aren't clear, something in the engine compartment caught fire and the Ram cremated itself on the shoulder of an off-ramp.
Box tells the story and it isn't an indictment of the truck, but a cautionary tale about how new vehicles don't burn like the old ones did - and why not to go back for your gym bag. It could also be a kind reminder about what kind of safety gear everyone should keep in their cars. Click the link to read the whole piece.

Ram shows its trucks are for work and play

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

There are no shortage of pickup trucks at this year's SEMA Show. The popular platform has been ripe for customization for years, so it should come as no shock that Ford, General Motors and Ram are all showing a fair few trucks in Las Vegas. From the Ram camp, we have two offerings - the Ram Sun Chaser and the Ram Dually Case Work Truck.
The Sun Chaser opts for a beach theme, similar to the Fiat 500 Thalassa. Based on the Ram 1500, the Sun Chaser wears Vibrance Orange Blast and Brilliant Black paint, and sports a Mopar roof rack, while the Ram Box system features a water tank and a shower head allowing beach-goers to rinse off before getting back in the truck. A flip-up, seat-back tailgate makes sitting on the back of the truck a bit more comfortable, and it's the kind of cool feature we can see becoming an optional item in the future.
The Sun Chaser mods are rounded out by 17-inch deadlocked wheels, a two-inch lift kit and a Mopar exhaust for the 5.7-liter Hemi V8. The cabin, meanwhile, sports Katzkin leather seats and even more Vibrance Orange Paint.
