This is a 1986 Porsche 944 N/A Slant 4 SOC FI. I am the 3rd owner and have had this car for over 6 months + did allot of work to it. First has a new set of Michelin tires speed rated, Lyndsy Racing A/C delete kit put in, New oddomotor gear put in, Rebuilt the power searing pump, New JVC audio all around installed ($500.00) to fit the factory set up, New Fuel pressure regulator, Fuel filter, and full fluid change with Royal Purple 10-30 and royal purple gear oil. When i Got the car from the previous owner he just put in a new clutch, Timing belt, Ignition system, mirror, and door handles. The reason i'm selling this car is my gal told me i have to many toys and i need to get rid of one so i am selling this one. I am Going to collage for my Automotive service and have prior experience with restoring cars before hand. The car will be parked till it sells cuz i dont want to add more miles to her for the buyer. I also have all the original books and service book for the car and will go with it also. Has Ben a COLORADO car from 1986 so this is rare and mostly low millage on the car for its age. Porsche inspecting 2,500 Euro-spec Macans for damaged brake boosters
Thu, 29 May 2014Porsche is investigating a potential brake issue with 2,500 of its new Macan CUVs. The inspection focuses on the state of the brake systems following tests that discovered the brake boosters may have been damaged during assembly.
Porsche has pointed out that, despite the concern, the affected Macans still meet safety regulations. The issue is predominantly found in European-spec Macans, which according to Porsche, have been delivered to consumers. Owners of affected vehicles in Europe will be notified and asked to come in for a brief, no-cost inspection.
American consumers, though, have no reason to worry. We reached out to Porsche Cars North America, who confirmed that the vehicles in question were assembled before US-spec cars were screwed together.

Porsche CEO hints at Macan GTS, expects brand sales growth to 200K+
Tue, 11 Feb 2014Porsche is expecting big things from its little Macan, with CEO Matthias Mueller announcing that not only is a sportier GTS model being considered, but that the CUV will almost certainly help push Porsche beyond its 200,000-unit-per-year sales goal three years earlier than expected.
"We're transferring the genes of the Porsche brand into a new market segment," Mueller said during a speech to kick off Macan production, according to Automotive News Europe. Macan demand should push the brand past 200,000 sales, Mueller said, confirming what we reported back in August. And if Porsche really has a hit on its hands, it is able to boost production of the sporty crossover beyond its initial capacity of 50,000 units, according to the brand's CEO.
Provided that the Macan is the success Porsche hopes it will be, Mueller hinted that the range could expand beyond the initial Macan S and Macan Turbo. "GTS versions have a tradition at Porsche," Mueller said. "We haven't made a final decision yet regarding the Macan, but I'm sure it makes a lot of sense."
