Porter Ranch, California, United States
Porsche 1967 912
911 Turbo look with flares and Tail - done years ago great deal of money was spent years ago to modify flare looks and older restoration. Body is Straight and paint looks presentable- its not a show car but good for daily driver or use- comes with 80's big cell phone (lol) if desired Engine / transmission runs very strong , car handles magnificent. Good Tires, Fuch type wheels not sure if original or not. interior is okay, although older restoration miles appears to be 100,462 -, front seats don't recline down, some fading on black bumper trim, headliner looks good, missing black trim runner on the side, some bumps from the flares of flares / should be easy fix sanding to smooth out, some rubber trim around the bumpers may need replacement or re clip. its and older 1967 Porsche could use some TLC but handles great sounds Great, nice car for the money, good driver. Picture says describes it and says it all- engine number # 4093136 vin # 460830 body type cpe 912 Sold As Is no warranty express or implied. non refundable $1,000.00 Deposit via PayPal within 24hours of winning bid. Son of Porsche 911 designer recalls 1963 Frankfurt debut
Wed, 16 Oct 2013
The Goodwood Revival is described by its presenters as the greatest motorsport racing party of the year. We often focus heavily on the motorsports, but you can't forget about the party. For the first preview of the new 911 Turbo in the UK, Porsche recreated its booth from the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1963 - the time and place of the original 911's public debut.
Porsche's cameras also caught up with Mark Porsche, the great grandson of Dr. Ferdinand Porsche and son of the late Ferdinand Alexander "Butzi" Porsche, who oversaw the design of the 911. Mark Porsche admires the 911's friendly design, which is set off by the round headlights, and says his mother, who was at the original Frankfurt booth in 1963, was milling around the booth at Goodwood - no doubt taking a trip down memory lane.

Porsche announces works team for United Sportscar Championship
Tue, 24 Sep 2013Porsche is undoubtedly the most successful manufacturer in sportscar racing, and it's only upping its game. The German marque is launching its new LMP1 racer for Le Mans in pursuit of overall victory once again, and now that sportscar racing in North America is coming together under one banner in the United Sportscar Championship, Porsche has announced it is entering the fray with a works team here as well.
The new Porsche North America racing team will field two cars in the entire inaugural season of the Tudor United Sportscar Championship that's been formed out of the former Grand-Am and American Le Mans Series. The team will be based out of the Porsche Motorsport North America facility in Santa Ana, California, and will partner with three-time ALMS LMPC winners Core Autosport in getting a pair of the latest 911 RSR racecars to the front of the GT Le Mans class.
Drivers have yet to be announced, but are projected to be drawn out of Porsche's factory driver program, which includes such talents as Patrick Long, Timo Bernhard, Romain Dumas and Neel Jani. Keep reading below for the official announcement.
