This started as a 1975 Anniversary Porsche 911 S 5 speed which was converted into  a 911 Carrera 1986 Steel Widebody Turbo Look Show Car with Air Conditioning that blows ice cold. . Since new and currently  it has always been in Florida and garaged in A/C !!!!. It is a completely rust free car and has only had 2 owners.  The original owner spent Thousands to have the original 2.7 motor completely redone with all components and upgrades to make it 100% reliable and bullet proof while producing over 200 HP. The car then received a show quality Paint job with the car completely disassembled. The paint shows better than new and shines like a mirror. The project was done by a factory by a  Porsche tech. The motor features a 13 Blade cooling fan, 6 Weber carbs, Turbo heads and valve covers, new head studs, new pistons, cylinders & seals it also has large front mounted oil coolers just to name a few items. It only has about 5k since rebuild.

Upgrades to the car also include Recaro Sport seats, New carpet and upholstry, 80's correct BBS Wheels new Turbo large cap fuel tank, new battery, new speakers and stereo, 275 tires in rear and 245 in front & true dual Custom exhaust,

I am available to take calls and answer any questions about the car.  It took me over a year to find a Porsche of this quality in my price range and hate to sell it but I'm thinning out my collection. My number is 954-868-8504. The car is available locally here in Florida and may be sold before the end of the auction.

I may also be open to Partial or full trades

Leno steals Porsche 918 from The Quail for latest Garage episode

Sat, 31 Aug 2013

Just because he's a famous celebrity doesn't mean Jay Leno got to take it easy at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance earlier this month. Having already spent some time with the gorgeous Cadillac Elmiraj Concept and Ed Welburn for a recent episode of Jay Leno's Garage, the late night talk show host also got to put a few miles on a prototype version of the Porsche 918 Spyder.
Like a usual episode of JLG, Leno first goes over the details of the car with Frank Walliser, head of the 918 Spyder's development, before taking it out for spin. Check out the full episode, which is posted below, to hear what Walliser has to say about the car. More importantly, though, crank up your computer's volume and let the car's high-revving engine and amazing exhaust note do plenty of talking for itself.

Roger Rodas' widow suing Porsche over Carrera GT crash

Tue, 13 May 2014

Investigations undertaken by local law enforcement may have vindicated Porsche from any wrongdoing in the crash that killed actor Paul Walker and racing driver Roger Rodas last year, but the latter's widow is apparently not convinced. According to emerging reports, Kristine Rodas has filed a lawsuit seeking unspecified damages from Porsche Cars North America.
In her suit filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court, Rodas' attorney Mark Geragos reportedly disputes the findings of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, which asserted that the vehicle was traveling at an unsafe speed of 90 miles per hour on city streets, identifying the speed as the cause of the accident. Instead the lawsuit claims that the vehicle was only going 55 mph and that the cause of the crash was improper equipment - namely a faulty right rear suspension and the lack of a crash cage and proper fuel tank.

Jack Olsen built one Porsche to do it all

Wed, 23 Jan 2013

Jack Olsen has built himself a lair called the 12-Gauge Garage, and inside that garage he built a lairy Porsche 911 nicknamed Black Beauty II. Although it looks like one of Stuttgart's models from the sixties or seventies, it is actually four decades of 911 gubbins from 1965 to 2000 thrown under one shell: the lightweight body is from 1972, the transaxle from 1977, the brakes from a 1986 Turbo, the engine from 1995, for example. It weighs 2,400 pounds and it's got 272 horsepower to get it going, but it's still a pure Porsche, Olsen saying, "If you stop thinking about what you're doing, it will remind you in very abrupt ways."
Olsen said the real point has been to have one car that does it all, so he does everything in his 911 from neighborhood runs to 7-11 to track racing - he loads the aero bits in the car and bolts them on trackside. And he says he'll never stop tweaking the suspension.
You can watch and hear the rest in Olsen's words in the video below.
