2003 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Convertible 2-door 3.6l Tiptronic, Seal Grey/ Black on 2040-cars
Loudon, Tennessee, United States
This 2003 Carrera 4 Cabriolet originally listed for over $100,000 based on the original window sticker in my possession. I am the second owner having purchased it used from a premier Porsche Distributor in Chicago in 2004 with 6,000 miles for $82,000. This is a beautiful car in show quality condition which has been garaged since I have owned it. Therefore the canvas top and leather interior are like new having had little UV exposure. Only minor blemish is a scuff mark on the side of the passenger side seat.
Currently have a little over 16,000 miles on the car having spent more time detailing than driving. In addition to good looks the car handles extremely well especially in the winding hills of Tennessee. Has been extremely reliable and have had normal maintenance done by the European Auto Garage who maintains several Porsche racing teams. Based on their 50 point inspection during a recent oil change two new rear tires were added (4/14) the rest of the car is mechanically clean. Over the years have also replaced one battery and added fluid for the roof lift hydraulics. No paint work, no dents, no dings and non-smoker interior.
This is an excellent opportunity to experience the pride, ownership and handling of a high end low mileage automobile in like new condition at a fraction of the original cost. Having had a number of sports cars I have to say none of them have come close to this one. For the right person this car is barely broken in and ready to be driven and enjoyed for many more miles.

Everything is coming up roses for the award-winning Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, as new data from the North American Dealers Association dissected by GM Authority reveals that America's sports car is handily outselling two of its more expensive rivals.

Through June of 2014, the NADA notes that the Corvette has rung up 17,744 sales, handily besting the Porsche 911 and positively spanking the SRT Viper. Of course, you're sitting there thinking, "Corvette is outselling the much more expensive Porsche and Viper. Sky blue, water wet." But what's impressive here is just how thoroughly the Chevrolet is beating its two rivals, with this data serving as a testament to just how popular the seventh-generation sports car has become.
So far this year, Porsche has managed to move 5,169 911s, according to NADA. Considering that the base model starts at nearly $15,000 more than the most heavily optioned Stingray, and that Porsche owners have a vast, expensive options catalogue to select from, Stuttgart's sales are still plenty impressive in relation to the nearly 18,000 Corvettes sold.
Porsche is ready to go racing in 2013, showing off a new 911 RSR today that is scheduled to compete in several endurance events this year. Based on the current 991 911, the new RSR will compete in the 2013 season of the World Endurance Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans. It will not, however, make an appearance in a North American racing series this year.

The 2013 version of the racecar has increased in wheelbase by some four inches, features a new wishbone front suspension in place of the last-generation's McPherson strut setup and boasts a new, lightweight six-speed racing gearbox. The engine, meanwhile, is an "optimized" version of last year's car, a 460-horsepower 4.0-liter boxer six-cylinder. Extensive use of carbon fiber and polycarbonate windows help the RSR shed weight, and Porsche has also balanced the weight more evenly with a lower center of gravity.
Porsche has thoughtfully dedicated some space to celebrate the 911's 50th Anniversary, with the number 50 clearly visible in the top-down view of the RSR, as well as along the doors. Scroll down to read the full Porsche press release, below.
Think of the electric motor in the facelifted 2015 Porsche Cayenne S E-Hybrid as the cream filling in an Oreo cookie. Under the hood of this plug-in hybrid crossover is a 333-horsepower, supercharged 3.0-liter V6 with a 95-hp synchronous electric motor sandwiched between it and an eight-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. The clutched powertrain allows pure combustion, pure electric or a combination of both to drive all four wheels through Porsche's permanent all-wheel-drive system.
Differentiating itself from the Panamera S E-Hybrid sedan, which shares the same basic powertrain and stores energy in a 9.4-kWh battery, the Cayenne crossover is fit with a more robust 10.8-kWh lithium-ion battery that delivers an estimated pure-electric driving range of up to 22 miles at speeds of up to 78 miles per hour.
To be one of the very first US media members to sample Porsche's latest fuel-efficient crossover, the automaker flew us to Frankfurt, Germany, to test the five-passenger Cayenne S E-Hybrid on its home turf.
