You are bidding on a beautiful 1991 Porsche 911 Turbo. I have owned this car for about 8 years and it has been kept in a heated and cooled garage since I have had it. This work of art only has 61, 407 miles on her. I would normally say that that could change based on me driving it but I never drive it the rain, snow or even in the winter. This Turbo is equipped with an awesome sounding aftermarket exhaust system, 18 inch Antera wheels, BF Goodrich tires and a custom Alpine sound system with 2 Alpine Crossovers, 2 Alpine power amplifiers and a 6 disc Alpine CD changer with custom rear speakers including a subwoofer. The body is in great shape with the exception of a small dent on the left front fender and some rash on the lower front of both rear quarter panels which is common on these cars due to the wide body and an easy fix (see pictures). Everything works on this car and the air is ice cold. Notable among its standard features are power rack-and-pinion steering, power four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, headlight washers, integral fog lights, heavy-duty windshield cleaning system with heated washer nozzles, power adjustable reclining front bucket seats, airbags for both driver and front-seat passenger, automatic full climate control, one-key central locking and alarm system, electric sliding sunroof, and on-board computer. I always encourage a personal inspection if possible or you can have someone else look at it for you. This car is an absolute rocket, sticks to the road like glue and is a blast to drive. I was out to dinner in it last summer and I overheard someone asking their friend if he saw that “NEW” Porsche in the parking lot. I am a dealer and must collect sales tax in some states. There are no other fees associated with this transaction from me. Bid with confidence. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time as I have the car for sale locally as well. If you have 0 feedback contact me before bidding or I will cancel your bid. I will store the car for you for up to a month, after payment, if needed. If you have any questions you can email me or call 937-926-4779. Thanks and Happy bidding, Jack.

Motor Trend hits Laguna Seca with Ferrari F12, Chevy Corvette, Porsche 911
Thu, 26 Sep 2013According to the crew at Motor Trend, we should think of the video below "as an addendum to Best Driver's Car," a test the magazine put together that elevated the 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S above all others in the category of driving joy. It seems the brand-new 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray wasn't able to take part in the magazine's official test, and neither was the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
And so Motor Trend did the only logical thing: It procured both the 'Vette and Prancing Horse as soon as it could, and put them both on track with the Driver's Car-winning 911. Of course, these cars don't actually compete against each other - the Ferrari offers up 731 horsepower and wears an asking price of $434,144 as tested, which means you could buy four loaded Corvettes for the price of one F12, and still have money left for a garage to store them in - but that's not the point of this particular test.
The point of this test isn't to listen to the beautiful sounds coming from the Porsche's flat-six-cylinder, the Corvette's pushrod V8 or the Ferrari's luscious V12, either, but the video below is worth watching for those three reasons alone. You know what to do.
Mysterious Porsche 911 Cabriolet spied, could be GTS
Mon, 10 Mar 2014While Porsche's designers can jokingly be accused of being some of the laziest in the industry due to the incremental changes to the 911's iconic design, no such charge can be leveled against the engineers and product planning folks. That's because it seems like each week arrives with news of a new variation of the marque's iconic rear-engined sports car. So, for this week, we've brought you images of what we think is the new 911 GTS Cabriolet, undergoing testing in a thawing winter wonderland.
Now, what is it that gives this 911 away, compared to standard convertible? Well, the big thing is the new offset, center-mounted exhausts. Borrowing a page from the last Volkswagen R32, these exhaust tips are unlike anything we've seen from Porsche. Only the GT3 wears center pipes, and unlike these spy photos, the twin pipes on the track-minded 911 are stacked neatly alongside each other. The other change spotted by our spies is the set of active-aerodynamic flaps in the front bumper, which can automatically channel air toward the brakes for increased cooling, or close off to reduce drag, as needed.
Those exhausts are a pretty big design detail, and so far as we can tell is the only differentiator between the other 911s in this car's posse. Our spies speculate that this could be a 911 Speedster, but point out that both the canvas roof and windshield remain unchanged - the rumored Speedster model would almost certainly feature a different roof assembly along with a steeply raked windshield.
Porsche 918 Spyder gets tiny recall for rear control arms
Tue, 09 Sep 2014As the recent US recall of a single Koenigsegg Agera shows, even low-production supercars aren't immune from safety campaigns. Now, there's another example that even the fastest cars can have their faults. The Porsche 918 Spyder is a pretty fantastic vehicle for its ability to mix hybrid fuel economy and incredible amounts of power, but Porsche has a problem on a few units of its halo model.
According to the recall document from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Porsche needs to inspect and possibly repair five 918s in the US because the rear axle control arms may break, which could cause a loss of control while driving. In the full defect notice, Porsche says that it first noticed the problem on June 26 when the parts failed during "heavy duty durability testing (extreme race conditions)" at the Nardo test track in Italy. It transported the components back to the company's lab for inspection, and on July 18 it issued a stop-sale to inspect the suspension parts on the supercar. The automaker also contacted owners by phone to warn them not to use the car on track, until repaired.
The affected 918s will be inspected, and if the cars have the bad parts, the control arms are will be replaced. Obviously, this will be done at no cost to owners. According to a Porsche spokesperson speaking to Autoblog, in addition to the five US cars potentially affected, there were 45 worldwide. All of the cars have now been checked.
