First off, I admit I do not know a lot about car specs so feel free to ask questions but I just don't know that much.  I bought this as a weekend car but I barely even get to drive it.  It definitely turns heads though every time I do take it out.

The car is white on the outside with black interior.  Mechanically and functionally the car is working GREAT.  When I bought the car, i took it to a friend of mine who is a certified Porsche technician and has subsequently opened his own shop.  He gave me the green light when I purchased it.  I then told him I wanted to to take it on a long drive so I wanted to make sure the car was in perfect shape as to not get stranded.  He did a lot of work on it to get things updated and I put some serious $$$ into it.  I recently had him put a brand new battery in the car too.  I have the paperwork for all the work he has done on the car.

As you can tell the car also has a slantnose conversion to the front.  The kit alone costs about $5000.

In full disclosure, there is maybe a slight nick on the paint on the front near one of the headlights and also one above the rear wheel.  Also, the pictures show that the "Turbo" insignia is on the car but it is NOT a Turbo. I have plenty of auto manuals and the operator's manual that come with the car.  I don't know what else to say about the car other than the fact I will miss it and someone will be lucky!  Please contact me if you have any other questions.

Porsche acquires ANDIAL, will integrate with in-house motorsports

Sat, 16 Feb 2013

Porsche has purchased longtime motorsports and tuning house ANDIAL.
The Fountain Valley, California-based tuning house ANDIAL has been around since 1975, when it was formed by the Arnold Wagner, Dieter Inzenhofer and Alwin Springer (the company got its name by combining two letters from each of their names). The three men met while working in a Porsche dealership in Southern California and then left to start a business that would put Porsches in victory lane all over the country.
Porsches prepared by ANDIAL won IMSA GT and Supercar Series championships, the SCCA World Challenge, four Pikes Peak class titles and the 24 Hours of Daytona six times. Alwin Springer left the company in 1997 to run Porsche Motorsport North America until 2004 and remains a consultant with PMNA, Wagner passed away in 2011 and Inzenhofer plans to retire this year. ANDIAL is still a going concern, Inzenhofer presiding over a scaled-down engine parts and restoration business. But Inzenhofer is retiring at month's end, making it a good time for Porsche to step in and take over the company's operations.

Porsche slathers Martini livery on 911, Panamera, Macan and Cayenne

Mon, 20 Oct 2014

This is how we imagine the conversation went in Porsche's Stuttgart headquarters: "Martini livery. Martini livery all the things." Okay, so maybe not, but that hasn't stopped Porsche from showing off images of its entire lineup bearing the iconic racing livery.
While we aren't sure about the questionably yellow 911 and lime green Macan, the navy blue Cayenne and the white Panamera both look pretty spectacular as they lap about the streets of Sochi, Russia.
As for why the liveried sports cars and crossovers were at the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics, we aren't totally sure. Porsche's Facebook page, where the images first popped up, was really light on details. Whatever the reason, we fully support Porsche doing more with Martini livery. Take a look at the full gallery to see what we mean.

Watch this Koenigsegg CCX hit 211 mph on a runway, outpacing McLaren's P1

Tue, 03 Jun 2014

Vmax200 in in England organizes events where those who care to show up with a supercar can run them down the two-mile runway at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. Evo attended the latest event, bringing an impressively green Lamborghini Aventador to test its girth and gaping vents against other precious metals like the McLaren P1 and F1, Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and Enzo, a Porsche Carrera GT and enough 911 Turbos to start a dealership. Speaking of those Porsches, nine of the top ten slots in the top speed competition are claimed by modified 911 Turbos.
A monochrome Swede ruled them all, though, a black-and-white Koenigsegg CCX setting fire to the speed trap run after run, hitting 211 miles per hour at its quickest. It was followed by, surprise, a 911 GT2 modified by 9E that did 210 mph. You can watch the EVO video below, GT Spirit has a bigger breakdown of the day, and we've included another vid showing the tandem launch of the CCX and McLaren F1.
