For sale by owner, purchased brand new in 2008. Beautiful and fully loaded Pontiac Vibe GT. This is the second generation Vibe with the new body style and the larger 2.4 liter engine that is available only in the GT . This car is manufactured by Toyota, for GM and is basically a Toyota Matrix with different sheetmetal. Toyota engine, drivetrain, suspension and most importantly, TOYOTA RELIABILITY!!!! This car runs strong and has not had one problem in 86000 miles and will probably go another 200K before anything needs to be done to it. This Vibe has every option available and the Monsoon sound system is great!!! The cloth and leather seats are new looking, the interior is clean and as you can tell by the pictures, the exterior looks great as well. This car drives like new, the tires are almost brand new, the brake pads are newish. The alignment is straight, the A/C is cold, there are no leaks or strange noises. I've priced this below book value to avoid the hassle of negotiations and to sell it (hopefully) quickly. Please feel free to inspect it or have it inspected; I will gladly coordinate this with you. Watch this garbage truck consume a Pontiac Grand Am
Wed, 15 May 2013When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC
Thu, 06 Feb 2014We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
