Runs Great!74 non-original Pontiac Trans Am with a much built (non original) 455 Pontiac motor (30 over 462 cubic inch). I have a dyno sheet and a video of it making the dyno run. This was just a quick 2 pull baseline dynoing without any adjustments using ONLY a 600CFM carburetor and 32 degrees total timing. With a larger carb and some tuning I would expect to see substantial gains in power. I have owned this car since 1991. This list is still probably missing a few things. Freshly rebuilt and Upgraded 200 4r overdrive transmission. No real rust problems. The interior carpet, pass seat and center console is out of the car at this time (it is here and included with it). I will include a brand New fuel tank that I was going to have modified for a racing sump pickup. Lots and lots of new stuff. This was not a real Trans Am according to the documents, it is a Formula that has been cloned. Every T/A part is here, but its just technically a Formula. I have recipes for almost everything. The car is showing some age and cosmetically will need a makeover in the future. I also have a complete virgin Pontiac 455 that I will include with it. You can get in and drive this car NOW! You could even drive it home if you wanted to. It has a lot of awesome things but I would recommend it for someone that loves to build hot rods or knows someone that builds hot rods THIS CAR IS BEING OFFERED AS IS (AS PICTURED) 10% DUE 48 HOURS AFTER END OF AUCTION, FINAL PAYMENT DUE 7 DAYS AFTER END OF AUCTION
Buyer is responsible for shipping, car will not be released till payment is clear. Prefer cash in person or wire transfer, inspections are welcome. I have more pictures upon request, let me know what you need. Email for my phone number it is much easier to talk than type. Thanks for your interest.

This 1927 Oakland is a minimalist hot rod
Fri, 21 Feb 2014There are hundreds of American automakers that sprung up during the dawn of the automotive era, only to fold into obscurity or get gobbled up by what would eventually become the Big Four (yes, we're counting AMC here). Oakland is one such company, which was the forbearer for General Motors' Pontiac division. Sold until 1931, you simply don't see Oakland-badged cars anymore. Unless, that is, you know Brian Bent.
Bent drives a 1927 Oakland that still rides on wooden wheels. Its original wooden wheels, from the sound of it. That makes this anachronist and his Oakland the perfect subject for a Petrolicious video. Like many of the cars highlighted by Petrolicious, this old Oakland has had some work done to it, featuring a Pontiac flathead engine that's been pushed forward and a clutch pack built by Bent.
Take a look below for a closer look at this rare and fascinating Oakland.
This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels
Sat, 14 Dec 2013We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
