I am selling my awesome Trans Am with a 355 Blueprint crate motor. It has about 7000 mls. on it and it runs perfectly! It has 340+ horsepower and I have a dyno sheet. The motor was professionally installed by a hot rod shop here locally. I use a Holley 670 street avenger atop a summit stage 1 dual plane intake, flat tappet cam with a nice lope! For complete specs go to blueprintengines GM 355 part# BP35511CT1 It has a GM HEI distributor with Crane Timing advance kit installed. Hooker shorty headers bolted to a $2000 custom made 2 1/2" true dual exhaust system with mandrel bends, H pipe, and Flowmaster super 44s that turn down at the back of the car. It sounds absolutely amazing! I can email you pics of the exhaust being made. I use fully synthetic Joe Gibbs oil. The motor always runs nice and cool. The transmission is a 700R4 automatic overdrive with a B&M 2000rpm stall convertor, and shift kit. It shifts hard and works perfectly. The rear end is factory posi. with a 308 gear. It has Energy suspension motor and transmission mount bushings and sway bar, end link bushings. It drives and handles great! The T-tops are glass and don't leak. The car weighs 3250 lbs and is very fast! The air conditioning is all hooked up but I haven't ever charged it up. The power windows and door locks work great. and the pop up headlights have new motors and work perfectly. Send me any questions you can think of and i will answer them as quickly as possible. This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?

Saturn Vue ignition switch leads to new group of GM recalls totaling 312k
Fri, 08 Aug 2014General Motors has another spate of recalls to announce. This time they cover 312,280 vehicles worldwide, including 269,041 of in the US, in a total of six campaigns. In 2014, the automaker has recalled 29,079,765 vehicles worldwide, with 25,754,356 of those in the US.
The largest among them covers 215,243 units of the Saturn Vue from 2002-2004 model years worldwide, 202,115 in the US. It's possible for the for the key to be removed even when the ignition isn't in the OFF position. The company knows of two crashes and one injury caused by this problem. Dealers are checking the parts and replacing the ignition cylinder and key set, if necessary.
Next is 72,826 models worldwide (48,059 vehicles in the US) of the 2013 Cadillac ATS four-door sedan, 2013 Buick Encore and 2013 Chevy Trax in Canada. It's possible that the for lap belt pretensioner to retract but not to lock, which could increase occupant movement during a crash. Both front, outboard lap belt pretensioners are being replaced, and a stop-sale is in effect on unsold models until the problem is repaired. There are no known crashes or injuries, though.
General Lee takes on Bandit T/A in classic Hollywood car showdown [w/poll]
Fri, 26 Aug 2011You don't have to be born in the 1960s or 1970s to be able to recognize the General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard and the Pontiac Trans Am from Smokey and the Bandit. These old school four-wheeled stars seem to transcend demographics thanks to the miles of film that show the orange 1969 Dodge Charger and the jet-black 1977 Pontiac Trans Am performing seemingly impossible stunts.
The folks at Hot Rod magazine are obviously hip to this fact, and they put together a fun video in tribute of the instantly recognizable duo. Hit the jump to watch on as Sam Young and James Smith replace Bo Duke and The Bandit for a bit of dirt-road shenanigans in a pair of otherwise well cared for classics. We're not so sure we'd call it the best chase scene ever, but it sure looks like a lot of fun.
