It is an information site for all of the Trans Ams that are for sale. Sorry for not being fancy but time is tight for myself to make the website really fancy.

All of the information on some of the nicest Trans Ams in the land is contained here.  True honesty, no BS. I have given you as much information on the car and the former owners as I can.  I think that it is a benefit you know where your car comes from and who owned it.   No secrets. No surprises.

Check back to this site over the next week or 2 as I add information and improve the site a little bit.

You can check out documents, history, stories, pictures and video.

If you want to know more, call me or email me.  I do not get email on my phone but I do check it a few times per day.  Less on the weekends.

There is a lot of information here so I hope you have high speed internet.

Enjoy………….

July 17, 2014 - Dutch Auction format is commencing for all cars.

A “Dutch Auction” means that over time I gradually lower the price until one of the many watchers finally pulls the trigger and we make a deal. Opposite of an American Auction where the price goes up.

During the Dutch Auction, I am open to all and any reasonable offers.  You have my email, you have my phone.

I will post a summary Dutch Auction page on birdbunker.com as soon as I can get around to it.

Good luck and grab a great car. Don’t wait too long though.

301 Automatic              Cloth Interior

Mileage as of this date is original 5,946 Miles.

There is not much to say about this car other than the fact that it is like a brand new 1980 Trans Am.   Period.

Delivered new by Pontiac to Willis Motors in Canton Ohio.       The factory plastic is still on the seats and back floor as if this date.

Headliner cloth has just started to sag a bit this spring. That’s it.   An easy fix.

I honestly cannot think of a single solitary thing wrong with this car.

Under the hood?  Like new

Paint all around ? Like new.

Glass?  Like new.

Underside of car? Like new.

Interior? Like new.

This car is every bit as clean ( or maybe even cleaner ) than the 900 mile 1981 car.

What doesn’t work or function?  Nothing.  It all operates just like…… you guessed it…….. like brand new.   I have not tried the AC though!

Last Ontario owner was a fine elderly man in Mount Albert, Ontario near Toronto.  Mr. Norris Morton.    Norris told me that he bought the car at the 1993 Toronto car auction as an investment.  The car is now back in Ohio.

1980 Trans Am’s were small block automatics and have a following from guys and gals from that era.   What obviously makes this Trans Am so rare and valuable is that it is a time capsule from 1980.  Days when life were much simpler.

Yes. I know your car is faster.

Yes. I know that this is a 301 and not a Super Duty. I understand.

But, this is a brand new 34 year old car.

This car is simply amazing as you can imagine.

Enjoy the pics and the video.  This car will end up in a collection somewhere that covets museum pcs and that is exactly what this car is.   A museum pc.

Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:

Aficionauto sits down with The Hoff and KITT

Fri, 10 Oct 2014

The latest video from The Aficionauto is the perfect palate cleanser for Knight Rider fans after finding out that Justin Bieber is the voice of KITT in an upcoming film. Host Christopher Rutkowski says that the Knight Industries Two Thousand is one of the most requested vehicles to appear on the series and for good reason - Michael Knight's Pontiac Trans-Am is among the most famous cars to ever appear on television.
While the video isn't able to showcase one of the original KITTs from the series, it does get star David Hasselhoff to drive his personal replica and talk about the lasting legacy of the show. The highlight here might be seeing The Hoff back behind the wheel in the open desert basically recreating Knight Rider's opening sequence.
With all of its flashing lights and gizmos, you can probably make the argument that KITT is pretty cheesy, and the show itself was never exactly a pillar of high-quality drama on television. Despite that, the series still provides a ton of good-natured fun, and The Hoff's continued enthusiasm for it is pretty infectious. Check out The Aficionauto video to take another ride with Knight Rider.

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial

Sat, 16 Mar 2013

The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
