THIS CAR IS IN AWESOME CONDITION ,59K MILES, MOTOR IS A BUILT PONTIAC MOTOR WITH RAM AIR 3 HEADS, INTAKE AND EXHAUST MANIFOLDS, MSD IGNITION,AND IT HAS OTHER PERFORMANCE MODS DONE TO IT NOTHING DRASTIC, IT HAS A TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION WITH CONVERTER AND SHIFT KIT.. THE EXHAUST IS OFF IT CAUSE I WAS PUTTING ALL NEW WITH CORRECT CHROME TIPS . THE TIPS COME WITH IT, I DON'T WANT THEM TO BE PAINTED SO I WAS SENDING IT TO EXHAUST SHOP AFTER PAINT. WE LEFT SOME UNDER THE CAR SO IT CAN STILL RUN AROUND THE SHOP.
I TOOK THE PICTURES AT THE SHOP AND HAD TO UNCOVER THE ENGINE & INTERIOR WHICH WAS ALL COVERED IN PLASTIC SO SORRY FOR A LITTLE DUST OR LACK OF DETAILING IN THE PICTURES.. ..
THERE IS NO TEARS OR BURNS IN THE INTERIOR, NO DASH CRACKS.. SUPER CLEAN BODY, CAR HAD ORIGINAL LACQUER PAINT ON IT THAT WAS OLD AND STARTING TO CRACK SO IT WAS STRIPPED TO BARE METAL.
I HAVE PICTURES POSTED OF WHAT IT LOOKED LIKE BEFORE AND IT NOW COMPLETLY STRIPPED TO RAW METAL, THIS IS ABOUT AS CLEAN AS YOU CAN ASK FOR. THERE WAS BASICALLY NOTHING OTHER THAN A FEW TINY DOOR DINGS IN IT UNDER THE PAINT WHICH ARE NOW FIXED ALREADY, THIS CAR WAS VERY WELL KEPT IN ITS LIFETIME, COMPLETLEY SOLID UNDERNEITH, TRUNK. 1/4S ECT. AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICTURES FOR YOURSELF.. ALL SPOILERS IN GREAT CONDITION AS WELL.
-THE CAR IS BARE METAL AS PICTURED RIGHT NOW AT A SHOP AND IS BEING PUT IN EPOXY PRIMER TO SEAL THE BODY UP AFTER IT IS FINISHED BEING PREPPED IN A DAY OR TWO, THE DECISION WAS MADE TO LET SOMEBODY ELSE PUT THE PAINT ON THE CAR AND RESTICKER IT, IT IS BEING SOLD READY TO BE SENT TO PAINT SHOP( AS IS) BUT PRIMED WITH DINGS FIXED..
IT RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT, IT JUST NEEDS FINAL PAINT AND YOU WILL BE DRIVING A SHOWPIECE IN A WEEK OR TWO, JUST IN TIME FOR SUMMER. THIS IS EASILY A 25K CAR IF PAINTED AND RESTRIPED CORRECT. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE CONTACT ME. GOOD LUCK OWNING THIS FINE EXAMPLE OF AN AWESOME ERA OF BANDIT TRANS AMS... I WISH I COULD POST MORE PICTURES BUT EBAY ONLY HOLDS 12, I WILL SEND MORE TO YOU UPON REQUEST. JUST CONTACT ME WE CAN TALK ALOT EASIER THAN WRITE.. ALSO IF YOU WANT IT COMPLETLY PAINTED AND FINISHED THAT CAN BE NEGOTIATED AND ARRAINGED ALSO.. JUST LET ME KNOW WE CAN WORK THAT OUT..

eBay Find of the Day: 1967 Pontiac GTO Monkeemobile
Sun, 29 Apr 2012Say what you will about The Monkees, but the guys in the band had great taste in automobiles. Take the Monkeemobile, for example. Built off a 1967 Pontiac GTO Convertible, the custom featured genuinely interesting bodywork and some wild engine bolt-ons. If you're a fan of 1960s pop and yearn to relive the genre's glory days, eBay Motors may have what you need. A recreation of the 1967 Monkeemobile has showed up for auction. This particular replica was built by Dakota County Customs using an four-speed GTO, just like the original.
Built for the band's 45th anniversary and the final Monkees tour last year, this Monkeemobile is faithful down to every last detail. Unfortunately, the trumpet exhaust poking out of the front fender wells and the massive gold-flake blower are for show only. Seems fitting.
If you like what you see, this machine is up for bid in Richfield, Minnesota with two days left on the auctions. So far, bidding as whipped up to $60,000 with the reserve not met. Head over to eBay Motors to have a look.
Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC
Thu, 06 Feb 2014We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.
David Hasselhoff's own KITT replica up for auction
Tue, 08 Apr 2014Depending on when and where you grew up, the name David Hasselhoff likely conjures up images of Knight Rider, Baywatch, pop singer, or possibly a washed-up TV actor, but one thing that can never be taken away from The Hoff is his connection to one of the greatest automotive icons in pop culture. The Knight Industries Two Thousand, usually shortened to simply KITT, was the real star of Knight Rider for many fans. Based on a Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, the car combined snarky quips for comedy relief and stunts to provide much of the show's actions. Now, Julien's Auctions is selling Hasselhoff's own replica as part of a larger sale of the actor's personal memorabilia collection.
This recreation is based on a 1986 Firebird and comes with all of the tech on the inside that now seems hilariously outdated, like the yoke steering wheel and plethora of buttons. The interior also thoughtfully includes a voice box with over 4,000 sound clips from the show. With a 5.0-liter V8 and an automatic transmission, performance is likely adequate and period correct. According to the listing, this car was created by fans and given to the Hoff. Sadly, the replica doesn't convert to Super Pursuit Mode like KITT could in later seasons, and we most associate KITT with conventional front-hinged doors to go with the power t-tops and ejector seats.
Bidding currently sits $27,500 with eight bids, since starting at $15,000. Julien's predicts it will sell for between $30,000 and $50,000. If there is some nostalgia for KITT in your heart, there is still plenty of time to bid.
