awesome 78 bandit clone I have for sale here. please look at my feedback, I have sold a dozen of these cars and always have great feedback and happy buyers. these cars are my hobby and passion. I am not a dealer and my descriptions are honest. I got this a year ago and had it painted and I replaced the interior.  the body was extremely clean when I bought it. no panels were replaced when it was painted. the usual rust areas in the back quarters were solid. the wheel lips are still original and solid with no sign of ever being replaced. I would know because I have replaced many living in ohio!  the paint job is very nice and straight. its not a concourse showcar but you could definatley take it to some car shows and be proud. it looks like a mirror down the side, countless hours of block sanding went into this car. I think the pictures speak for themselves. the rims have just been re-furbished and painted and look like show quality. the back tires are brand new and the fronts have 3/4 of the tread left. all the seals were replaced of course including the hurst hatches. the engine looks to be the original, I never checked but all the codes are correct and it wasn't a big deal to me anyway. the car runs very strong, I was told by the previous owner it was rebuilt but I have no documents to prove this, but it has a nice lumpy cam and ton of oil pressure which a factory engine would not. other than that I have no knowledge of what was done to it. I have been driving it around with no problems at all. I was also told the tranny was rebuilt with a shift kit. I have no proof but it does chirp the tires when shifting from 1st to 2nd so im guessing it was. when you shut the car off it leaves a drop or two of oil like most 35 year old cars. I did put a brand new remanufactured quadrajet carb on it from summit racing. I also had a brand new dual exhaust put on it and the gas tank was already replaced as you can see in the picts. the interior is in excellent condition. the camel seats are original with no tears. I put brand new headliner, carpet, door panels, and rear deck shelf in it. the dash is uncut with a pioneer super tuner cassette player. there is a hairline crack in the dash but its very un-noticeable unless you are looking for it which is why I did not change the dash. I also put a new heater core in it. the only things I can think of that need fixed are the hazard button is broke off the column, the rear defrost does not work, and the a/c is not working. all the ac components are there and the compressor spins freely with the belt still on it. I never looked in to it because when its hot you take the tops off!!!! The original hurst hatch bag was gone so I am including 2 fisher t-top bags to use. overall its an awesome looking and driving car that's ready to be enjoyed by some one this spring. The car gets a ton of looks and thumbs up every time I take it out. don't pay thousands more for this same car from a dealer, I have seen it first hand. email with any questions, thanks.

GM issues four new recalls, 2.4 million cars affected

Tue, 20 May 2014

General Motors has announced another set of recalls, covering some 2.42 million cars in the United States. For those keeping track, The General has now recalled over 15 million cars worldwide this year due to various issues.
Here's the breakdown for this most recent set of recalls:
1,339,355 - Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia models from the 2009 to 2014 model years; Saturn Outlook models from the 2009 to 2010 model years

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes

Mon, 01 Oct 2012

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels

Sat, 14 Dec 2013

We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
