1977 PONTIC TRANS-AM SMOKEY AND THE BANDIT EDITION. AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS A VERY NICE CAR IT HAS BEEN IN MY
COLLECTION FOR A WHILE, THIS CAR HAS SPENT ITS WHOLE LIFE IN TN. I HAVE KNOWN BOTH THE FAMILIES THAT OWNED THE CAR.
IT RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE NEW YOU CAN DRIVE THIS CAR ANYWHERE. ALL LIGHTS, TURN SIGNALS, AND GAUGES, ALL WORK. AC
BLOWS COLD, AND IT HAS GOOD HEAT. THE MOTOR WAS REBUILT FRESH WITH A MILD CAM SO IT HAS A GREAT DEEP SOUND. THESE
CARS ARE A GREAT INVESTMENT THEY ARE GOING UP EVERY YEAR AND ARE HARD TO FIND WITH ALL ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT IN THIS
CONDITION. EVERY BODY WANTS THE 1977 BECAUSE OF SMOKIE AND THE BANDIT. THERE'S NOT MUCH MORE I CAN SAY ABOUT THIS
CAR THAT THE PICTURES DON'T TELL. VERY ORIGINAL BUT IT HAS BEEN REPAINTED BACK SOMETIME AGO, BUT THEY DID A GREAT
JOB, THE PAINT HAS A GREAT SHINE WITH VERY MINER ROCK PECKS AND SCRATCHES, IT DOES HAVE TWO RUST BUBBLES BEHIND THE
REAR WHEELS ABOUT THE SIZE OF YOUR INDEX FINGER. IF I DID NOT POINT THEM OUT YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW THEY WERE EVEN
THERE. IT HAS GREAT INTERIOR WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A SMALL CRACK IN THE DASH MAT THAT WAS REPAIRED AND IT LOOKS
GOOD. THE RADIO IS NOT ORIGINAL IT HAS BEEN UPDATED WITH THE CD IN THE TRUNK VERY PROFESSIONAL JOB. OTHER THAN THAT
THE CAR NEEDS NOTHING, JUST GET IN AND DRIVE IT HOME. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL CAR

GM recalling over 40,000 Chevy, Pontiac and Saturn models over fuel pump woes
Mon, 01 Oct 2012The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall for a number of General Motors cars and crossovers bought or currently registered in the hot-climate states of Arkansas, Arizona, California, Nevada, Oklahoma and Texas. As many as 40,859 units consisting of the 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and Saturn Ion and the 2007-2009 Chevrolet Cobalt (shown) and its Pontiac G5 twin are being recalled for potential fuel leaks.
This recall is being issued due to potentially faulty fuel pump components that can crack and cause gasoline to leak from the return or supply ports and possibly cause a fire. NHTSA has not indicated how many fuel leaks or vehicle fires have been reported. As a fix, GM will replace the fuel pump modules on all affected vehicles free of charge. Since Pontiac and Saturn have been shuttered, owners will be able to go to another GM-brand dealership to have their vehicles repaired.
While the list of affected cars and crossovers varies by state and model year, if you own any of these models and live in Arizona, California, Florida, Nevada, Oklahoma or Texas, be sure to check the official notice below for more details.
Trans Am Depot teases 2014 GTO
Mon, 24 Jun 2013Here comes the Judge. Court is in session. The verdict is in. How many more tired clichés can we come up with? It hardly seems to matter, because it's happening: Trans Am Depot has announced via the teaser video below that it is launching a 2014 GTO, complete with Carousel Red (bright orange, really) paint and full Judge badging.
The car is based on Trans Am Depot's 6T9 Goat, which, in case you don't get the reverential references, is meant to mimic the look of the 1969 Pontiac GTO. As with the company's other cars -including the 2013 Hurst Edition Trans Am we recently drove - the GTO will be based on the current Chevy Camaro, which means two doors, V8 engines and rear-wheel drive, just like the muscle cars of days past.
As for actual details of what's under the 2014 GTO's hood, we're completely left hanging. We'd expect some sort of power adder (turbo, supercharger or possibly some other form of a highly massaged version of the Camaro's V8), and we certainly know that GM has any number of hi-po crate engines to choose from.
Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
