this is a nice 65 Lemans (GTO clone) 326 automatic trans-- starts right up every time motor sound good runs good no smoking or leaking, runs cool with good oil pressure and straight as an arrow, Trans shifts fine, brakes and steering are fine its get a lot of attention everywhere it goes from both the guys and the girls.Paint is a little dull don't know if it will buff out? exterior is complete only missing passenger side mirror.all glass is good and tinted windows are Ky legal.older craiger type wheels have some surface rust but tire are in very good condition. It has had 2 rear lower quarter patches and you cant tell it from the outside they are nicely done.Doors are solid frame is good, a little rust in the floorboards but not that bad.Interior is nearly complete missing original steering wheel and dome light cover.headliner is good with no rips but sun visors need stitching around the seams.drivers seat is ripped pretty good and carpet may need replacing. Electrical--- headlights high low --turn signals-dash light, gas gauge, heater fan interior and exterior lighting its all good nothing not working except interior dome light and horn on aftermarket wheel. This car starts right up and drives anywhere anytime but exhaust is loud and stops at the mufflers just in front of the rear end. That is a easy fix if you don't like loud but it does have duels with two mufflers now. car is for sale local and i reserve the right to end auction at any time.and the right offer may also end it.

Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial
Sat, 16 Mar 2013
The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
Watch this garbage truck consume a Pontiac Grand Am
Wed, 15 May 2013When an old car or truck offers its dying breath in your driveway and you just don't have the financial or mechanical wherewithal to resuscitate it yet again, you traditionally have to go to the trouble of calling a flatbed or a tow truck to come haul it away. That usually helps to put a few bucks in your wallet and helps recycle some of the vehicle's parts, but the transaction doesn't seem as final or perversely satisfying as the dispatch service that this New Way Cobra Magnum garbage truck offers.
Okay, okay, so this refuse hauler isn't actually designed for this sort of thing, but it's oddly comforting to know that a sanitation truck can compact a hapless Pontiac Grand Am into oblivion. Next time, we won't feel so guilty about slipping that rusty charcoal grille onto the curb next to the cans on garbage day. Watch the carnage by scrolling below.
Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit
Mon, 20 Jun 2011Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.
