It is an automatic transmission with the option of putting it in to manual mode and drive using steering wheel mounted tap shifters rather than a manual gear shifter. This Car started in the Sparks Nevada And Reno Nevada area and ended up in Lancaster California. It has spent its life in dry desert climate. and has zero rust or corrosion issues. Most of these cars that have been listed on Ebay in recent months have been located in the Midwest area of the U.S. (AKA Rust Belt) Most of these cars have more than likely been exposed to harsh winters, rainy spring and summers and plenty of gravel roads. Most of these states use harsh corrosive salts and sands on the roads to melt ice and snow and are very hard on paint and metal components. I lived in Iowa for 24 years and seen the damage that these conditions cause. Why not save the hassle and buy a car that is as good as new structurally. This car has a clean carfax and is very clean in and out. There are a few light scratches on the paint on the doors and a small scratched area on rear bumper cover looks like damage from taking luggage out of the trunk.
