I am the original owner of this 2005 Pontiac GTO. I've used this car for work and the vast majority of these miles are highway miles. This has always been garage kept and has never seen the snow. It sits on stand during the winter. I've added a 3 gauge pod in the center dash, but I never hooked up the oil pressure (because I wasn't brave enough to split the OPSU nor drill through the fire wall). The cobalt autometer in the middle needs to be replaced. I also added the bluetooth kit from Monaro. The 19'' rims (which are beat up) and taillights were also from Monaro, shipped from Australia. I will include the original rims, center counsel cover, and taillights if desired. You will also see I ordered the GPS counsel for the center dash (garmin not included). I still have the original storage unit that was there as well. This car has been my baby for the last 7 years, but it's time. I just don't have the room to store it anymore. It is in good condition, but it has wear and tear that's to be expected after that timeframe. It unfortunately has some miscellaneous door dings/dents, but the body estimate I got was ~$650 to fix them. The car was once rear ended when it was parked, so the trunk lid/bumper was replaced 5 or 6 years ago. The windshield has a few chips that were repaired. It drives well, but is in need of a clutch. I have done all the oil changes myself, every 3k miles or after the winter break. I just swapped the rear differential fluid with royal purple this spring as well. I put clear signal indicators in the front and have a K&N air intake system. I replaced the rotors, brakes, and spark plugs around 75k miles. Let me know if you have any questions. I can also send more pictures. All sales final, vehicle is sold as is.

Lutz says Washington killed Pontiac, next G6 was to be ATS derivative
Tue, 29 Oct 2013How many people think Buick or GMC should have gotten the axe instead of Pontiac? You can't see it, but I'm raising my hand. Autoweek reports that former Vice Chairman of GM, Bob Lutz, has indicated that things didn't have to end up the way they did.
"The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.'"
In a talk given at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the Inside the MotoMan Studio series, Lutz says "The Feds said, 'Yeah, how much money have you made on Pontiac in the last 10 years?' and the answer was, 'Nothing.' So, it goes. And when the guy who is handing you the check for $53 billion says, 'I don't want Pontiac, drop Pontiac or you don't get the money,' it doesn't take you very long to make up your mind." Lutz even added that the next-generation Pontiac G6 would have benefitted from the rear-wheel-drive platform of the Cadillac ATS. How awesome would that have been?
GM repairing 40,500 Pontiac Vibes as part of Toyota airbag recall
Wed, 09 Apr 2014General Motors has confirmed to Autoblog that the Pontiac Vibe is included in Toyota's just-announced recall action. The Vibe and the Toyota Matrix share a large number of parts, including the affected cable to the airbag.
"About 40,500 Pontiac Vibes from the 2009-2010 model years are included in the Toyota recall. Toyota designed and engineered the Vibe for Pontiac. GM will service customers with these vehicles when Toyota makes the parts available," said GM recall spokesperson Alan Adler to Autoblog in an email.
The recall covers 1.3 million Toyota units in the US, including 2009-2010 Corolla, Matrix and Tacoma, the 2008-2010 Highlander, the 2006-2008 Rav4 and 2006-2010 Yaris, plus the addition of the 2009-2010 Vibe. The models all have their airbag module attached via a spiral electrical cable. The connections on this cable can be damaged when turning the steering wheel. Once broken, the airbag deactivates and the airbag warning light comes on. Toyota has an improved part, but it's still making preparations to begin repairs. It will begin notifying owners soon.
Sci-fi movie Jinn features car designer, Firebird-bodied Camaro
Tue, 08 Apr 2014If you're an automotive engineer being tormented by an immortal being made of fire, then wouldn't you think it best to have a custom coupe called the FireBreather for your getaway car? That's the FireBreather in the image above, adorned by the red wings that once fronted the Pontiac Firebird, running away from a black cloud of evil in a trailer for the movie Jinn.
The Jinn is eternal evil, always waiting for the chance to make things float across rooms before going on homicidal urban rampages. The FireBreather is a Gen-V Chevrolet Camaro - from the V6 to the ZL1 - that's been through Classic Design Concepts' extensive list of exterior and interior modifications, including entirely new front and rear fascias and side skirts, sway bars and springs, Pirelli P Zeroes and an available Edelbrock supercharger.
The movie - FireBreathing chase scenes and all - was shot in Monroe, Michigan. You can watch the trailer below, but since the FireBreather only get a couple of seconds on screen, you can find out more about it on Street Legal TV and its official site.
