Pontiac Trans Am Firebird Gt Convertible 25th Anniversary Mint And Super Rare on 2040-cars
Grand Island, New York, United States
1994 25th Trans Am Convertible with only 4019 Original Miles This Rare Limited Edition Trans Am was 1 of only 250 convertibles ever built in 1994 which made it an instant classic. The car is 100%original and untouched from Stock GM condition like the day it was new. The car still has that "new car smell" with its special Prado leather seating. The best way I can describe the 25th Trans Am is to just say it is in "as new" condition. The car retains its entire original paint, interior, top, and even the high speed rated Goodyear GS-C tires. When you get behind the steering wheel and fire it up and drive it you will swear that you just purchased a new car. The cigarette lighter has never been used, nor the ashtray and the convertible boot is still in the original GM bag in the trunk and has never been installed. Like I said before "as new". The car has never been driven in rain or any poor weather as evidenced by the bottom of the car. The bottom is clean you could eat off it. The driveshaft still has the GM tag on it. There isn't any rust or corrosion on the bottom or top side of the car anywhere. It is an extremely well preserved untouched vehicle. All of the cars operating components work properly including the AC, power headlights, power windows, and the power top. You will not need to spend any money on this car. This. Special 25 th Trans Am is a very safe investment of your money. The price is very fair for the condition and rarity as well as its collectibility. I can be reached at 716-773-4547 or 716-693-1500 if you would like to discuss the car or to work out purchase details. Thank you for viewing my auction and best of luck. Someone is going to get a great car. Bob I have ALL original paperwork, manuals, even the window sticker. |

This Auto Aerobics car art ties our brains in knots like pretzels
Sat, 14 Dec 2013We like cars, and we like art. Naturally, Chris Labrooy's Auto Aerobics series - computer-generated images of some seriously contorted 1968 Pontiac Bonnevilles floating in mid-air - instantly clicked with us. If the Pontiacs weren't floating or hollow, we could be fooled into believing the image is real. But where's the fun in that?
Check out the gallery we included of Labrooy's Bonneville art, and feel free too head over to his website for some Formula One humor.
1939 Pontiac Ghost Car commands $308,000 at auction
Mon, 01 Aug 2011For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new. You can check out the high-res gallery of its innards, including copper and chrome metalwork and white moldings and wheels, and get the exhaustive details on it after the jump.
CNN chronicles young girl building Pontiac Fiero
Fri, 26 Oct 2012At fourteen years of age, Kathryn DiMaria has already done what many self-proclaimed gearheads won't even attempt in their lifetimes. The Dearborn, Michigan teen is rebuilding a car from the ground up.
The intrepid youngster asked her parents when she was just twelve to start a Pontiac Fiero project, even offering to pony up all the funds herself. Father, Jerry DiMaria only expected the project to last a few months, but two years later, Kathryn is still at it. In this CNN video, the two are at Maker Faire (a DIY festival) rebuilding a 3.4-liter V6 engine out of a Chevrolet Camaro to replace the 2.8-liter mill found in the Fiero.
The whole family hast pitched in, with Kathryn's mother teaching her how to sew in order to complete the interior, father Jerry providing much of the technical know-how, and even her sister is chronicling Kathryn's progress through photos. Jerry even started a thread in a Fiero forum which has been live for two years and is now 22 pages long. Of the project, one forum member wrote, "welcome to the madness."
