************************NO RESERVE***************************

Hello Everyone,

I just bought this 70 Plymouth Barracuda Grand Coupe, very low mile's, from my Neighbor who bought it brand new in 1970. He rarely used it then parked it in his driveway in 1988, placed 2 tarp's over it and left it there until last week when he finally agreed to sell it to me. I had all intention's of doing the restoration however my dream car became available and this car is now for sale. Just do not have the time or $$$ to do both.

The mileage appear's to be original however not confirmed although the sign's of little use are there such as the Brake and Gas Pedal's are like new, no wear. The original radiator support sticker's are still present and readable as is the crayon number's written in the engine compartment. I have all the original Dealer paperwork and the car has the original build sheet behind the seat.

The Interior is 100% original and complete however filthy dirty. The Interior can be easily restored. The glass is all nice and original. The car was factory Black with a white Vinyl Top(removed) and Black/White Hounds Tooth Bucket Seat's, Ralley Dash and and Center Console.

Now for the Bad.........................

This car did not do well sitting outside for over 25 year's. This car will need a total restoration meaning a lot of medal repaired and or replaced. The car will need Quarter's, Trunk Pan, Extention's, Wheel Well', Fender's, Repair's around front and rear Windshield's, repair's in Engine Compartment such as the battery mounting area and the Floor Pan's will need to be replaced. Yes it need's however remember this is a 70 Cuda, 1 owner, low mileage, 100% original and complete for little money. The Engine does turn although not running ofcourse. This car has never been in an accident nor does it have any bondo(yet). LOL!

The car has the original grill that is beautiful and worth at least $2K, as is the Hood and Door's. The Frame appear's to be good on both side's from what I can see. This car is worth someone who will spend the time and $$ to restore it original or drop a HEMI and have an awesome ride!!!!!!!

Please ask the question's prior to bidding and not after you win the car. No I will not give the full VIN#, not display the fender tag as there are way to many scammer's out there!!!!!!!!!  The winning bidder will have all that info. One more thing please...... Please do not call me unless you are serious as I do not have time to talk to "Mopar Expert's" or Folk's looking to walk down memory lane. I am just too busy. Thanks in advance.

Thank you All for reading my Ad,

Joe

US Marshal's classic muscle car auction officially in the books

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

The US Marshal's so-called Blood Muscle Auction was completed earlier this month, with the prestigious nine-car field (two cars were added following Autoblog's initial story, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 454 and a rare, mid-restoration 1971 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda) finding new and hopefully law-abiding owners.
While we'd normally recap the stars of the show, in this particular auction, every car's sale was newsworthy. The full list of sale prices doesn't seem to be published, but according to The New York Times, the auction brought in a total of $2.5 million, or an average of about $277,000 per car.
The king of the contest seems to be a 1970 Plymouth Superbird (above, right), complete with a 426-cubic-inch Hemi V8, which brought home $575,000. The trio of Yenko Chevys, meanwhile, all easily cleared the six-figure mark, with the Yenko Camaro (above, far right) clearing $315,000, the Chevelle crossing the block for $237,500 and the supremely rare - one of just 37 - Yenko Nova (shown above, left) selling for an even $400,000.

Barrett-Jackson 2014: 1970 Plymouth Hemi Superbird passes half a million dollars

Sat, 18 Jan 2014

The Plymouth Superbird is one of those classic American cars from the muscle car era that has captured the imagination of all sorts of automotive enthusiasts long after its presence on roads and race tracks wore away. It's easy to see why. Where else but in the Swingin' Sixties and Seventies would a car leave the factory with an aerodynamics package that included a pointy beak and a rear spoiler that sat several feet above the rear deck?
The example you see above, which was born in 1970, is one of the finest Superbirds we've ever seen. Combine its complete restoration with its original 426 Hemi engine, and it's no surprise that it managed to bring in a cool half million dollars (plus 10 percent in fees) at Barrett-Jackson. See it yourself in our high-res image gallery above, and scroll down below for the official auction description.

'Blood Muscle' auction to sell impressive collection of ill-begotten classic cars

Wed, 30 Jul 2014

The old saying goes that if you can't do the time, don't do the crime. But being a criminal can involve more than just taking a trip to the big house; it can also mean losing possessions purchased from any ill-gotten gains. Still, one man's loss is another's gain, and if you're in Lodi, NJ, on September 12, you stand the chance to buy some of the ultimate muscle cars from the US Marshals in what is being gruesomely nicknamed the Blood Muscle auction.
The grisly moniker was earned because all of the vehicles belonged to the president of a blood testing company who is facing prison time for alleged bribery, according to Hemmings. After all, they are muscle cars bought with actual blood money. The seven-vehicle collection includes some of the ultimate muscle cars ever made, and the original buyer clearly had an eye for rarity.
This cornucopia of V8 power includes a teal 1970 Ford Mustang Boss 429, a 1967 Shelby GT500 Mustang, an orange 1970 Plymouth Superbird, a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS convertible and perhaps most prized of all - a trio of 1969 Yenko Chevys with a Chevelle, Nova and Camaro all represented. From the included photos, all of them look to be in fantastic condition.
