 I purchased this car from the original owner in 1979. The woman was in her 40's, I was 18. Mileage was 92,000
1967 Delmont 88 Convertible with 425 bbl, believe either 300 or 310 hp, 400 Turbo automatic, posi rear.
Pastel yellow paint with matching yellow top, yellow interior and rich dark gold dash and carpet. All this combined with the sound of an Olds 425 big block Rocket motor.
So started the 34 year love affair.

When purchased for the reasonable sum of $160 only repairs needed were top replaced and rust repair on driver 1/4 and left rear floor and tear in driver seat.
Immediately replaced top with white(yellow not available at time), put piece of tin in floor, fiber-glassed 1/4 and taped seat. Top with glass window cost me over $300 in 1979.
First year drove out to Arizona for the month of December including short trip to Texas to visit schoolmate all the while averaging 20 miles per gallon running 65-70 on highways.
Completely ridiculous that 35 years later with all our technology we still struggle to get 20mpg from a V8.

Second or third year developed a miss in one cylinder from valve issue and instead of fixing just parked and bought a beautiful 67 Toro to drive.
Car has been off road for 30 years but been stored indoors for probably 25 in various warehouses, garages and barns. Been sitting covered up in driveway for over a year,
Time to go, I'm middle aged with young family and no shop or funds to restore.

First summer I owned rear ended someone while watching college girls in my mirror, front clip is from a 98, sheet metal the same just incorrect grille, believe I have correct mouldings for fender sides, not sure if still have Delmont 88 425 scripts. Air cleaner is surface rusty because kept in trunk, had Mr Gasket air cleaner on years ago.
Just tore out carpet yesterday to take pics and assess rust, floors were better than thought, trunk was worse.
Although engine is tight, I know bottom end and block is fine,  think freshen up with rings and bearings and valve job would suffice.
Have all original hubcaps, however only one rim is 14", other three are 15". Don't believe have other three 14". My idea was to keep 15" for ease of finding tires.
Radiator missing, borrowed for a 442 years ago.
Gas tank straps were bad, tank is ok, will be put in trunk for shipping.

Included in Buy Now Price is all parts I purchased to restore suspension back in 1981. All parts are brand new TRW, never installed, and include front & rear springs, ball joints, center link, inner & outer tie rods, A-arm bushings. Probably $400-500 dollars.

Bottom line car is rough and needs lot of work, maybe worth more in parts than whole.
My starting price is what I can scrap it for-heavy steel-punch those fenders with your hand and see what gives.
If buy now price is hit or exceeded, sale includes all TRW suspension parts.
If  no bids, will be forced to part out and scrap.
