1996 Nissan D21 only 100,000 miles, New fuel pump, fuel injectors, plugs, wires, cap , rotor, fuel filer, rear brake drums, brake lines. Truck was totally de-rusted. new fenders, front header panel, front bumper, replaced bed (bed has some damage on drivers side see pictures). Truck was stripped down to the frame and totally derusted (see pictures). After rust was removed I primed and undercoated everything.Body was painted in a black primer (looks better from a distance). The paint is not all that great. New owner may want to repaint it if they want the body to be as good as the frame and the motor and trans. Runs great and clutch is good. I put a spray on bedliner and put the bed liner over it. I also put the spray on bedliner along the bottom of the panels (to keep from chipping and rusting).Truck does have air conditioning but when I put the front header on I broke the bolt holding the line to the condenser. It didn't seal properly and the 134a leaked out. It may need a condenser if you want to repair the ac. It has a 4' body lift and the 4wd works great. Truck would be a great work/off road vehicle. Again it's not pretty but it is solid and it runs great. I also have not had it inspected so the new owner would have to have it towed because it is not fully street legal. Any questions please let me know.

2014 Nissan GT-R Track Pack squares off against Audi R8 V10 Plus
Wed, 22 May 2013The team over at Motor Trend has pitted the new Audi R8 V10 Plus against the Nissan GT-R. While both of the bright red all-wheel-drive supercars are comparably matched in power output, the similarities end there. Audi offers a mid-engine aluminum coupe with a naturally aspirated V10 that spits out 550 horsepower. Nissan shows up with a more traditional coupe equipped with a 545-horsepower twin-turbocharged V6 at the front of the car.
The Head-to-Head video takes both cars to the Streets of Willow Springs in the California desert for some track work with professional racing driver Randy Pobst behind the wheel. After a day at the track, the pair head to the local mountains for some spirited real-world driving. One dominates on the circuit, while the other earns back its credibility in the canyons. We won't tell you which coupe comes out on top, but we think you may be surprised. Follow the link below to watch for yourself.
Nissan NV200 Taxi
Thu, 21 Aug 2014"You're a long way from home!"
When I signed up to drive a pre-production version of the Nissan NV200 Taxi, I expected to have a higher-than-normal level of interaction with the public at large. However, while I was hoping for unsuspecting Ann Arborites to perhaps hail me down, or maybe even get a hop-in when stopped at an intersection, I didn't really think I'd be hassled in parking lots so much. And yet, almost as if all of the Dad-Joke energy in the universe was drawn to my tall, yellow ride, seemingly everywhere I parked I heard some iteration of the phrase above.
Har har, guys.
Nissan to expand next-gen Titan with more engines, configurations
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Not much has changed with the Nissan Titan in the decade that it's been on the market, but the 2015 model year could move the needle enough to turn the truck from an "also ran" in the fullsize truck market to more of a contender. Edmunds had the chance to sit down with Pierre Loing, vice president of product and advanced planning and strategy for Nissan North America, who indicated that not only will a new truck be coming for 2015, it is also expected to take a bigger chunk of the truck market currently dominated by Ford and General Motors.
For starters, the article quotes Loing saying that the next-gen Titan could sell 100,000 units, which is almost five times the number of Titans and the same number of Toyota Tundra trucks sold last year. To accomplish this, Nissan is planning to offer a wider number of models (including a regular cab version) and more powertrain options; we're sure this means Nissan is considering offering a V6. The addition of a regular-cab, V6 Titan would also allow this truck to be more competitively priced.
Will that be enough to attract buyers away from the Big Three domestic trucks? We'll just have to wait and see...
