1993 nissan hardbody, auto on column! 163k miles, body is in good shape (does have a few dings here and there), painted in 2010, rear bumper has a dent dented. Crack on the dash and a small crack in windshield, not big! and one of the door speaker covers in missing, the hood release under the dash (plastic handle) is missing, (I use pliers), and the tail gate handle is broke, but will open from the back side.  no big deal to me,  just want to be honest about it.  A/c is ice cold. (Trans only has 95k miles $1644.00 with receipt), just got it put in.  Shifts perfect, motor runs great also.  2nd owner with clear title in hand and actual mileage.  have receipt for brand new valve cover gasket, oil change, plugs wires, dist cap etc... work done this past month.  Has a brand new set of 18" Nissan Titan Nismo wheels, and brand new nankang 225/40/18 tires on it with receipt also. Tires only have 100 miles on them. (700.00) The interior is in good shape but it is what it is to be a 93, the vents are missing (from previous owner), has no effect on performance of the a/c or heat.   Truck can be viewed at any time at my home located in Murrells Inlet  Reserve the right to end auction early as I have it listed locally also.   704-634-8120

Dacia Duster to spawn inexpensive Nissan Terrano, will we get it?

Sat, 08 Jun 2013

When going to overseas auto shows, one can't help but spend an inordinate amount of time eyeballing forbidden automotive fruit. It's often of the seriously rare, criminally powerful and six- or seven-digit variety. But more often than one might think, the genuinely affordable overseas hero makes us swoon, too. So it is with the Dacia/Renault Duster, the cheap-as-chips, hard-wearing utility vehicle. We've often thought that its basic, rugged charms would play well in the US if saddled with a low enough price tag, but we've never seen much of a window for that to actually come true.
But now, Autocar India is reporting that Nissan will flex its alliance with Renault to spin off a Duster of its own, one that exhumes the Terrano nameplate, a moniker once used for overseas versions of the first- and second-generation Pathfinder. The new model will feature unique sheetmetal to give it a familial look, but the interior will be the same, and we expect the same goes for the powertrain, meaning there will be a range of gasoline and diesel four-cylinder engines with both manual and automatic gearboxes and front- or all-wheel drive.
So, does that mean we'll get a Nissan version of the Duster-based Terrano to call our own? Sadly, almost certainly not. Company spokesman Dan Bedore tells Autoblog flatly, "There are no plans to bring this model to the US." Bummer. Even if it isn't ultimately as capable as the larger, long-in-the-tooth Xterra (it's more on par with the now departed Canadian-market X-Trail), we think the Duster's archetypal SUV looks and low cost barrier would win it plenty of fans in our market. Our guess is that redesigning the model to meet US regulations (crash, emissions, lighting, etc.) would be prohibitively expensive, and the Dacia/Renault model is built in some pretty distant facilities - Brazil, India, Romania and Russia among them - making the business case harder still.

Nissan Juke-R [w/video]

The Other Brother
The handler strapped into the carbon fiber race bucket next to me is the only other person outside of yours truly who looks like he thinks this is a bad idea. I've just finished situating myself in the cabin of the very first Nissan Juke-R ever constructed. There are literally thousands of man hours in this single prototype and only four examples of the car total in the entire world. Each one carries a price tag of around $656,400 at current conversion rates, making this both the rarest and most expensive piece of machinery anyone has ever let me get close enough to sniff, let alone drive.
And that's exactly what I mean to do.

2014 Nissan Juke Nismo RS priced from $26,120*

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

We'll admit, we're quite excited about the Nissan Juke Nismo RS, especially now that its price has been revealed. For $26,120, you can get the sharpest, sportiest Juke outside of the over-caffeinated, 545-horsepower Juke R.
That base price reflects the cost of the Juke Nismo RS you really want - the front-drive model, complete with six-speed manual. Snagging an all-wheel-drive, CVT-equipped version will cost an extra $2,000. Those prices don't include an *$810 destination charge.
The Juke Nismo RS boasts an extra 18 hp and 26 pound-feet of torque over the 197-hp Juke Nismo, thanks to things like a new exhaust. The big, must-have feature, though, are the Recaro thrones fitted in the front of the RS. As we said when the hot Juke debuted in LA last year, the seats alone may be worth upgrading to the RS model.
