Maxima 6 Speed Manual, Low Mileage Nissan Flagship - Loaded, Leather Very Clean on 2040-cars

Year:2004 Mileage:109000 Color: is black
Location:

Chagrin Falls, Ohio, United States

Chagrin Falls, Ohio, United States

Relisted - vehicle was within a few hundred dollars of the reserve which we are holding to!!

Very clean black leather interior with power moonroof, windows, seats (heated), rear headrests, bose 300+ watt stereo with tweeter option, 6 cd player, auto dimming rear mirror.  Interior is very clean with original maxima floor mats (could use a shampoo but are black, unstained and the lettering is clear).  The seats are like new and the interior shows very little wear.  The exterior is black, and paint is very presentable.  Regularly waxed, it has kept a great shine and all trim looks great too.  There are a few scuffs on the front and back bumper from parking idiots but this car is country club ready.  One scuff on the hood but I'd bet can be buffed out (in pictures).  The aluminum wheels look very good and the tires are newer.  Vehicle has never been in any accidents and title is clear.  It's as comfortable as any car, is a joy to drive and I'd be comfortable driving it to Alaska tomorrow.  Burns no oil and has no leaks.  If you're familiar with the Maxima it has incredible quality and safety features and has been one of the best selling vehicles in the US.  Why they (and others) stopped making them in manual transmissions I'll never know.

We've changed the oil every 3000 miles, kept up brakes and other maintenance issues regularly and it has been the most reliable vehicle we've owned.  New headlights last year (very expensive replacement).  Only known issue is the ABS brake light is on (dashboard) as the sensor stopped working a couple of year back.  The brakes stop fine, I didn't care to replace the sensor.

We loved this car so much, we bought a newer Infinity option with a stick before they stopped making those, thus why we're selling this one.  Owned for 5 years, bought with ~48000 miles and enjoyed thoroughly. Happy to answer any questions and provide reasonable photos from perspective buyers, inspections welcome.

Nissan NV200 Chicago Taxi looking for a #HailYes

Fri, 07 Feb 2014

Nissan may be loaning out its small van to General Motors for its Chicago Auto Show debut, but that doesn't mean that Chevrolet is the only one with new NV200-based wares to share. On the heels of launching its Taxi Of Tomorrow for New York City, the Japanese automaker is giving America's Second City a livery of its own.
Shown here in a green and white paint scheme that "expresses a modern take on a historically popular Chicago taxi color," this NV200 Chicago Taxi is the company's less-than-subtle bid to capture some of the city's cab business, which is estimated to have about 7,000 units in service. Nissan is urging the public to generate discussion on social media and hopefully capture local taxi fleet operators' attention with a #HailYes campaign.
Beyond its unique appearance, this NV200 appears untouched, which means it's still powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine backed by a version of Nissan's ubiquitous XTronic continuously variable transmission.

Nissan 'Ride of Your Life' campaign turns an Altima into a race car [w/video]

Thu, 08 May 2014

Nissan definitely makes some exciting vehicles. The GT-R has received continuous improvements to keep it at the head of the pack in the performance car world. And the Leaf might not bring driving intensity, but its technology is quite impressive. However, there is nothing especially thrilling about the Altima. Granted, it races in the Australian V8 Supercars series, but that car really only shares its basic shape with the production version. So it may see surprising that the Japanese automaker is hoping to inject some drama into its midsize sedan with its new Ride of Your Life ad campaign.
The project is pretty clever. Nissan invited several people to the Horse Thief Mile circuit at Willow Springs Raceway for a ride in an Altima racecar. After a few laps with a professional driver around the course, they pulled into the pits, and the passengers got a big surprise. We won't spoil what happens for you. You can check it out in the video below.
The concept is somewhat similar to Toyota's thrill ride ads for the Camry last year. Both promotions try to show that that these four-door, family sedans can be more than just boring transportation. Nissan's commercials will begin airing on TV soon. The automaker hopes to excite potential Altima buyers ahead of its upcoming national sales event. Scroll down to watch the video to find out the big secret and read the full release about the campaign.

Meet the man who took a year sabbatical to drive his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster

Tue, 28 Jan 2014

A quiet drive in the country can be the most relaxing thing in the world. What if it didn't have to end, and you could keep driving for a week, a month or even a whole year? That's what Scott Fisher is doing by taking a one-year sabbatical from work and driving his 1967 Datsun Fairlady Roadster around North America.
"I had owned a manufacturing business in Las Vegas for 16 years. I knew I needed to kinda' get out, and unwind, and get my mojo back," said Fisher.
Fisher's trip has covered over 30,000 miles through 44 states and 7 Canadian Provinces, and it is not over yet. He left from his home in Las Vegas, NV, last spring and drove to the Pacific. From there, he drove up the coast to the Canadian border and aimed the car for the Atlantic. He just posted on his blog about visiting the Nissan headquarters and museum in Franklin, TN, and his next stops are Mississippi and New Orleans, LA.
