All the dealers want a 1000 dollars just to sell it to me, then I would have to sell to you, paying taxes twice. Instead you drive off with immaculate Gtr upgraded with awesome HKS exhaust with blue tips for total of 92,300! Well below the cost of a new one, as price has gone up, gas guzzler tax and other fees. Saving you about 17,000 dollars. The car exhaust is dealer installed by Deland nissan. It's had 3 oil changes and today went for its annual alignment and camber and suspension adjustments. It's perfect, call me if you are serious only. You must have the pay off amount or sale won't go through. Deland Nissan offered to make it easy, the other Nissan dealers here is south Florida did not. At the Cadillac place the fees include the paper work and the total amount of the car. I broke it in like a baby and still treat it like one. No dings, dents, scratches and no paint touch up. Thu, 18 Sep 2014For many enthusiasts, the concept of the ute - a car with a pickup bed - is somehow irresistibly appealing. On paper, it promises the marriage of a truck's utility and a car's superior driving dynamics, and for that reason alone, we'd love to see more of them. Yet while other parts of the world get them in good numbers, North America doesn't ever see them - at least not for long. Based on what we've seen of late, though, that's not due to a lack of motivation on the part of engineers.
BMW wowed us several years ago with an M3 ute, and earlier this year, some interns converted a Mini Paceman into the pickup-bodied Paceman Adventure. Loathe to let their rivals in Munich and Oxford have all the fun, Nissan has built its very own car-based pickup. Meet Sparky, the world's first Leaf Frontier.
Like the M3, this all-electric ute is used as a parts hauler for Nissan's engineering teams at its sprawling Stanfield, AZ tech center and proving grounds.
This tiny 1.5L engine from Nissan makes 400 horsepower
Tue, 28 Jan 2014Back in 2012, Ford packed its tiny 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder in a carry-on suitcase, destined for use in the Fiesta here in the US. In June, Nissan will pack its tiny new three-cylinder engine in a 24 Hours of Le Mans racecar. Nissan's don't-call-me-DeltaWing ZEOD RC racecar will still be able to tackle a single lap under full electric power, but the rest of the time it will be powered by the new 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine.
Holding the lightweight engine (at right) is Nismo president Shoichi Miyatani, and he's likely smiling because that 40-kilogram (88-pound) engine packs quite a punch with 400 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Nissan would like to take a moment to point out this engine's power-to-weight is better than the engines currently used in Formula One racecars.
