Vehicle description:

VIN: 1N6AD07W17C435389

Up for sale is my father's Nissan Frontier. He is the only owner and he is an older man, non-smoker, no pets. He kept this truck in great condition and we just serviced it prior to putting it for sale. We own a reputable repair shop and inspection station and always maintained this truck the right way.

The Truck is in excellent mechanical condition

It is the Loaded edition with the step running boards, roof rack, cargo lights and hard bed cover. It has power door locks and windows and keyless entry. He does not often drive in bad winter weather so it has NO RUST AT ALL.

Stow-n-Go and power sliding door. It also has keyless power sliding doors and trunk. The stock is fully stock and clean.

We professionally installed upgraded sound system, HID headlights and LED interior lights. It is hard to find a nice clean truck like ours that has not been abused. Everything works on it including A/C.

No mechanical work needed at all. BRAND NEW TIRES. Engine has plenty of power and transmission shifts smoothly. It has just been serviced and all fluids have been changed. Good cooling system, suspension, brakes, exhaust, etc. No check engine lights of any sort. It recently passed NYS safety and emission inspection.

The undercarriage is in excellent condition, No Leaks. The frame is clean.

Body is rust free and clean. Black trucks are hard to keep clean and we did a good job keeping it clean. I took plenty of detailed pictures.

All glass is in good condition and it has factory privacy tints for all back windows.

Interiors are also in good condition.

All seats show little to no wear on them. Drivers side seat has the most wear.

Factory floor mats available. All upholstery is clean.

US-built Infiniti Q50 engines to go into Euro-only cars

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

Back in March, Infiniti announced that it would be adding a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder to its Q50 line for European and Chinese buyers. Now, we know where that engine will be built.
Nissan's Decherd, TN facility will receive the $319-million investment, which will see a separate, dedicated line for the Infiniti engines. According to Automotive News, this is more than a line running alongside the Nissan operations - the Infiniti facility will sport its own unique architecture and interior lighting, in a bid to distinguish the premium line from its mass-market parent company.
The logistics of all this do seem, on the surface, quite screwy. Building a new engine on one continent for a car built on another that will eventually go on sale on a third doesn't seem too bright, although there is a catch here. The new engine will also find its way into the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, which will kick off production in Vance, AL later this year.

Detroit 3 to implement delayed unified towing standards for 2015

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

Car buyers have a responsibility to be well-informed consumers. That's not always a very simple task, but some guidelines are self-evident. If you live in a very snowy climate, you generally know a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro might not be as viable a vehicle choice as an all-wheel drive Explorer or Traverse, for example. If you want a fuel-efficient car, it's generally a good idea to know the difference between a diesel and a hybrid. But what if it's kind of tough to be an informed consumer? What if the information you need is more difficult to come by, or worse, based on different standards for each vehicle? Well, in that case, you might be a truck shopper.
For years, customers of light-duty pickups have had to suffer through different ratings of towing capacities for each brand. For 2015 model year trucks, though, that will no longer be a problem. According to Automotive News, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler Group have announced that starting with next year's models, a common standard will be used to measure towing capacity. The Detroit Three will join Toyota, which adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers' so-called SAE J2807 standards way back in 2011.
The standard was originally supposed to be in place for MY2013, but concerns that it would lower the overall stated capacity for trucks led Detroit automakers to pass. Ford originally passed, claiming it'd wait until its new F-150 was launched to adopt the new standards, leading GM and Ram to follow suit. Nissan, meanwhile, has said it will adopt the new standards as its vehicles are updated, meaning the company's next-generation Titan should adhere to the same tow ratings as its competitors.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder: January 2013

Wed, 23 Jan 2013

We've now had our long-term 2013 Nissan Pathfinder for about a month, and some impressions are starting to solidify, while others remain contentious among the team. Most notable among those contentious items is our Pathfinder's paint color, which was chosen by vote among the Autoblog team.
Dubbed Mocha Stone, it beat out Cayenne Red by a single vote. I was a Mocha Stone supporter and like it even more in person than on Nissan's configurator. It's a mature choice that can be comfortably placed in the grouping of silver, white and gray tones buyers routinely choose most often over all the colors of the rainbow offered on cars these days for the sake of attention. Staunch opponents of Mocha Stone on the team remain unswayed. Democracy is a difficult process, people.
