This is my wife's car.  She is the original owner & bought it brand new off the lot.  Only damage - a few months after she bought the car (October of 2005), she bumped another car at a stop light.  No major damage of any kind - just cosmetic - but insurance went ahead and replaced the front bumper.  No other wrecks or damage besides a few door dings (see pictures.)

I have (2) vehicle history reports available - AutoCheck and InstaVIN.  I couldn't attach them to this listing, but please email me if you would like to see them and I can forward them to you.

No low ball offers, trades, or owner financing.  This is a very nice car and priced right.  Compare the repairs/updates we just completed to other used cars and you will see the difference.  We have done all the maintenance work so you don't have to.

Please email with any questions or for an appointment to test drive.  Serious buyers are welcome to have the car inspected by their mechanic (at their expense).

Cash only (no checks).  At time of sale, we will meet at the bank to exchange funds and notarize documents.  We will sign over the title and provide you a bill of sale and an odometer certification statement.   You will need to take these documents into a tag agency and have the registration transferred within 30 days of sale.

We have done our best to answer all the questions we would ask when buying a car, but we may have missed a few.  If so, just email and we will get back to you quickly.  Thanks!

Nismo GT-R poised to be fastest Nissan ever

Mon, 17 Jun 2013

For almost every year since the Nissan GT-R first debuted, Nissan has been figuring out how to cram more power under the hood or give it 911-like quickness around the Nürburgring. Looking to create a brand image for its performance arm, we already knew that a hotter, Nismo-branded GT-R was in the works, but it seems some details may have leaked regarding this new Nismo GT-R.
While little has been spoken of this Super GT-R since February, Top Gear is reporting that Nismo is planning to make improvements to the coupe's power, handing and styling - three things that we're sure few have complained about since 2009. What could this mean for the GT-R? According to the article, Nismo could be looking to raise horsepower from the current 545-hp mark to more than 570 hp, and handling upgrades could give the car a 'Ring lap time of seven minutes and 22 seconds, which as Top Gear points out, is four seconds quicker than the new 911 GT3.

Nissan's Taxi of Tomorrow shut down by NYC courts [UPDATE]

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

Justice Schlomo Hagler may have just put a big dent in Nissan's plans to rule New York City's taxi fleets and outgoing Mayor Mike Bloomberg's vision of a unified fleet of yellow cabs.
As an October 28 deadline approached that would see all current, non-hybrid taxis replaced over by the Nissan NV200 over a three-to-five-year span, the legal battle that's enveloped the Taxi of Tomorrow program from the start has intensified. In a lawsuit, the Greater New York Taxi Association claims New York's Taxi and Limousine Commission overstepped its powers in mandating that taxi fleets are refitted with the NV200, according to the New York Daily News. This isn't the first time the courts have sided with the cabbies in the ToT debate.
Justice Hagler agreed with the cabbies, striking down the Taxi of Tomorrow purchasing requirements, and saying, "Simply stated, the power to contract and compel medallion owners to purchase the Nissan NV200 from Nissan for ten years does not exist in the City Charter," according to The Wall Street Journal.

Alpine unveils N36 LMP2 car that will race in 24 Hours of Le Mans

Mon, 25 Mar 2013

This is the Alpine LMP2 competitor you'll see contesting European endurance races this year, including The 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. Parent company Renault showed off the N36 racer at its atelier in Paris, the blue and orange a switch from the yellow, black and white livery Alpine wore last time it was seen in Le Mans way back in 1978 when it won the race.
The team will be run by Signatech-Nissan and the chassis will be powered by a Nissan engine. Nelson Panciatici and Pierre Ragues will contest World Endurance Championship rounds throughout the year, they'll be joined by endurance and IndyCar veteran Tristan Gommendy for Le Mans and Paul-Loup Chatin as the team's reserve driver.
The Alpine N36 will get into its first test this week at Paul Ricard, then experience its first racing miles at the European Le Mans Series round at Silverstone on April 13. The press release below has the full scoop, the photos above have the past and present in high-res glory.
