2006 Nissan Altima se-r runs perfect & cleanest you'll find.  I've owned the car for just over 2 years, the original owner worked for Miles Nissan where I purchased it.  Amazing car, reliable, fun to drive, and pretty rare, especially being a 6 speed.  It has 4 brand new Falken Azenis all season performance tires 245/40/18, handles better than the stock and they have less than 300 miles on them.  Also just had a new clutch installed due to a noisy throw out bearing, the transmission was also serviced at the time of the clutch repair. Fluids have all been switched to full synthetics & premium fuel only keeping full performance available. A reliable daily driver averaging well over 20mpgs even with the powerful VQ35DE engine.  Currently there is a cold air intake installed however I do have the l stock air box if that's more to your liking.

As far as it's condition again you will not find a cleaner se-r for sale.  There is a small ding on the drivers side rear door, I was quoted $65 to get it removed by a paintless dent repair.  A few minor scratches here and there most would not notice unless you have a keen eye.  The interior has been cleaned regularly and maintained by Zaino products only.  The drivers seat leather side bolster does need a little attention. Aside from that the interior is great, very clean, no scuffs on the trim, no stains in the carpet, & the leather still smells great.  The wheels do have some scuffs on them, I had planned on getting them powdercoated however overall the car is extremely clean.  I'm sure you'll love it as I do, just not enough garage parking.  Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

Nissan teases Sao Paolo CUV concept, production future likely

Thu, 16 Oct 2014

Back in 2012 at Brazil's São Paulo Motor Show, Nissan showed off an angular subcompact crossover concept, Extrem, that seemed to to portend the future of the Nissan Juke. Now, the Japanese automaker is teasing an as-yet-unnamed CUV concept for this year's show. The new showcar, set for an October 28 unveiling, is expected to be a closer-to-production version of the Extrem ethos.
Why should we care? Autoblog has reason to believe that this vehicle is under consideration for global distribution. The production Extrem - or whatever it ends up being called - is likely to be positioned size-wise in between the Juke and the recently upsized Rogue, offering more space and still-adventuresome styling, yet at a less expensive price. If accurate, that sounds like the production model will be a fair bit larger than the conceptual Xtrem, which was built atop a modified version of Nissan's V-platform, a model that underpins its March supermini (and speaking of the March, Nissan has also teased what looks to be a sporty concept version of it for the Brazilian show, too).
It's important to note that Nissan already has a bustling small CUV portfolio globally, what with its popular Qashqai / X-Trail models in markets beyond ours. There continues to be persistent rumors that Nissan is considering bringing over the Qashqai, as well, a model seemingly already quite close in size and execution to the Rogue. Despite this, Nissan has shown no hesitation in exploring every niche of the burgeoning CUV market, and while not every derivative has been a success, models like the Juke have rewarded the company's bravery with handsome sales.

Nissan Safari police truck a sort of A-Team van from Japan

Wed, 28 May 2014

Television today might be at one the best points in the medium's history with shows like Mad Men, Louie, True Detective and streaming offerings like House of Cards. However, none of those come close to the number of car chases and explosions of '70s and '80s offerings like Charlie's Angels, The A-Team or The Dukes of Hazard. Apparently, this prevalence of action at the time wasn't just an American phenomenon. In Japan, a show called Seibu Keisatsu fulfilled the nation's need for shootouts and stunts.
Nissan was a major sponsor of the show, and therefore the brand's vehicles were used extensively, including a highly modified Nissan Safari SUV (also known as the Nissan Patrol), pictured above. In the show's lore, it was equipped with radar, a camera and a fire extinguisher capable of turning over a car. The series ran 236 episodes from 1979 to 1984, and with the trailer below as indication, that allowed time for plenty of car jumps and explosions.
The entire Seibu Keisatsu series is now coming out in Japan on DVD and Blu-Ray packed in a fake gun case. The trailer below shows off some of the action of the series. It all starts out normal enough, but about a minute into the video there are all sorts of Nissans jumping and crashing. Plus, there is a guy on fire in a shootout. This show looks like some seriously cheesy fun. Scroll down to get a taste of it.

Semi-autonomous Nissan Leaf certified for road use in Japan [w/video]

Sat, 28 Sep 2013

In order to meet its goal of having an autonomous car in production by 2020, Nissan is going to have be able to test its technology in real-world driving conditions. For this, the automaker has just received a license plate to legally test its semi-autonomous driver assist systems in Japan, marking the first time such technologies have been tested on that country's roads. Not ironically, the license plate number is 2020.
Though not fully autonomous, this Leaf prototype will test various components of a self-driving car including exiting the highway, the ability to stay in its lane and change lanes when needed, stopping at red lights and overtaking stopped or slow traffic. Nissan is also in the process of building a proving ground in Oppama, Japan dedicated solely to autonomous cars, but the ability to test on public roads will obviously play a crucial role in the development of these cars. Scroll down for a short video and press release Nissan posted to mark the occasion.
