1994 Nissan 300zx Twin Turbo Coupe. 5 Speed Manual. T Bar Roof 88K original miles.

Condition: Overall this Z is in excellent condition. The interior is a 9.5/10. The Exterior is 8/10. The paint is very glossy and not swirled. As photos show, car does have minor dings, some front road rash, few defects. But anytime I take it out I still get tons of compliments as It really does stand out! Brand new Bridgestone RE-11 ultra summer tires with alignment. Never wrecked, never smoked in, never raced, never beaten, and always cooled down post boost. AC was just recharged and works great. Clutch and transmission feel great as well. No notchy gears or strange noises in the driveline. The engine runs smooth and is quiet. Shocks still feel pretty solid. The adjustable suspension still works great. Select sport or touring. Sport for stiffer ride and touring for a softer ride. The brakes still have about 50% remaining. The turbo's are good and do not smoke. All of the glass is original Nissan (never replaced). All accessories, lights gadgets work fine. Battery is 1 year old. The wipers are all new.

Features: Boost gauge located on the drivers side pillar. JWT ECU (still have the original factory chip too), JWT Pop Charger intake, GReddy Profec B manual boost controller. ACT Street clutch. Mobile 1 full synthetic was always used 10w30 every 1500-2000 miles, OEM "specific 300zx" oil filters always used. I am including (6) unused ones I still have. The required 60K maintenance was completed at 63K. Redline gear oil in tranny and rear diff at 63K. Nakamichi cd45Z CD Player. There is also a JLT Audio Stealthbox (vehicle specific subwoofer enclosure) mounted in the hatch area. Please keep in mind, 1994 was the first year they used airbags in the 300zx. This car has air bags.

Nissan 60K mile recommended service was completed at 63K Miles. This included the following items:

Genuine Nissan timing belt, (4) camshaft seals, crankshaft seal, timing belt tensioner, water pump, (3) accessory belts, fuel filter, coolant flushed, spark plugs. ACT clutch was installed at this time as well.

Datsun previews new budget sedan for Russia [w/video]

Thu, 13 Mar 2014

Nobody does cars on the cheap quite like the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The former part of the equation already has its Dacia brand of cost-effective, no-frills vehicles that have become a favorite of Top Gear co-host James May, and last summer, the latter revived its Datsun nameplate for a budget brand of its own.
The reborn Datsun launched in India this past July with its Go hatchback, returned in September with the Go+ minivan and revealed the Redi-Go concept just last month. And now it's given us our first look at an upcoming budget sedan developed specifically for the Russian market.
The as-yet unnamed vehicle (which we'll bet will incorporate the word "go" into its nameplate somehow) is set to debut on April 4, where it will launch the Datsun brand in Russia. Few details are available at this point, but the low-cost sedan was designed in Japan to offer Russian drivers "an engaging driving experience, peace of mind ownership and accessibility at the right and transparent price, with a competitive Total Cost of Ownership."

2014 Nissan Dayz Roox is the littlest high-roof van you ever did see

Fri, 22 Nov 2013

Even average production cars from Japan often seem very conceptual to US eyes. Throw in typical, nonsensical-quasi-English-words name like "Dayz Roox" and you'd be forgiven for thinking this Nissan box on wheels was still a designer's dream. But the fact is that the Nissan Dayz is a model currently on sale, and this Roox version is the latest take on the micro-van, which is a popular segment in Japan.
In fact, this generation of Dayz is the first minicar that Nissan has developed completely in-house, and the thing has been selling astoundingly well in its first stint on the market (30k units in month one month, says Nissan). So it's unsurprising that the company is looking to expand the range with a model that is more fully featured.
The Roox (we have no clue as to where that name came from, or what it means) would appear to be a high-roof version of the three-cylinder Dayz minicar - in fact Nissan goes so far as to call it an "Impressive Super Height Wagon." Features like automatic sliding doors, Around View Monitor and UV-insulated glass are all luxuries in kei-class car. The press release also specifies that the Roox is tall enough to swallow a 27-inch bicycle.

Bug-eyed next-gen Nissan Titan spied testing

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

It's no secret that the fullsize pickup truck market is dominated by offerings from Detroit's Big Three automakers, the Nissan Titan and Toyota Tundra not able to outdo the Ford F-150, Ram 1500 or Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra twins. A great deal of that has to do with the fact that, while the American trucks have all undergone evolutionary updates that include a range of body styles, fuel-efficient engines and excellent technology, the Japanese offerings are, well, really old. Toyota is offering an updated Tundra for the 2014 model year, and while we haven't driven it yet, we're already betting that it's still behind the pack in terms of competitiveness - the 2013 model placed fifth out of sixth in a recent PickupTrucks.com comparison test.
At the bottom of the pack lies the Nissan Titan, a truck that hasn't received any sort of substantial update since its introduction nearly ten years ago. But that's going to change - a new truck is slated to debut for the 2015 model year, and these spy shots of a Titan mule clearly show that things are moving forward.
While this tester relies heavily on the current truck's bodywork for testing purposes, the new Titan will have a revised design, some of which is evidenced by the bug-eyed front fascia of this mule. No, the production model isn't going to look all weird (we hope), but the higher, more outboard headlight placement suggests that the new truck will be a bit wider than the current model.
