1990 Nissan 300zx N/A 5 speed 2+0 w 174xxx. I get a bunch of compliments every time I take the car out. Car runs and drive great and is pretty fast for a N/A. Cornering is amazing on the car. Paint is good condition with some crack and stuff in the body kit. I took close up of most of the damage areas on the car. Car does need a little TLC

Mods-
1. Full Exhaust - Megan headers and down pipes w/ Greddy Catback Exhaust ( Car sounds really good)
2. Z1 cold air intake
3. Re-flashed ECU from Z1 Motorsports
4. Chrome Ruff Racing wheels 8.5 in front and 9.5 in rear. (Tires still have 90-95 tread left on them.) (On the front Passanger Rim there is some curb rash but the rin is still in balance
5. Nismo Racing seat with four point Nismo racing seat belts
6. Front and rear strut bars
7. KYB shocks with Eibach Coils ( Great setup, not too stiff but corners on a dime)
8. Full wide body kit
9. JDM Rear tail lights
10. Full Polk audio speakers with Sony xpolde 4 way amp
11. Rear SPL Camber arms
12. Nismo Thermostat

Maintenance-
1. Ball joints
2. Tie rod ends
3. Timing belt and pulleys
4. Water pump
5. Redline MT90 oil every 10,000miles
6. Misc seals
7. New Clutch

Car also comes with a bunch of extras as well, Extra Motor, A/C compressor X2, Intake and other misc parts that I've picked up over the years. I've swapped the motor with a motor that has 70-80k miles on it now. The old motor was a little low on compression, but if someone wanted to rebuild the old block and swap it back it would all be original again. I removed the a/c out of the car, but still have all the pipes and 2 compressor if someone wanted to install it back again. I did remove the Cruise control too on the car but I still have it if someone wants to install it again. I hate to see the car go but I no longer have the time to work on it or the funds to do so. So hopefully she can go to a good home.

Nissan: We lose money on each Leaf replacement battery

Thu, 24 Jul 2014

Nissan has been playing its cards pretty close to its chest when it comes to the production costs for Leaf battery packs. The company recently put a price on replacement batteries for customers at $5,500 plus the requirement to return the old battery. If the decommissioned battery is worth $1,000 to Nissan, as they have stated, that means the battery costs about $6,500 to make, right? Maybe even less if Nissan wants to turn a profit, as automakers are wont to do? Wrong.
Green Car Reports spoke to Nissan about these battery costs, and found that the automaker actually loses money on selling the replacement battery for the Leaf at the current price. Jeff Kuhlman, Nissan's vice president of global communications said, "Nissan makes zero margin on the replacement program. In fact, we subvent every exchange." All you English majors will know that "subvent" is a fancy way to say "subsidize." Kuhlman added, though, "We have yet to sell one battery as part of the program."
The fact that Nissan offers its replacement batteries for less than it costs to manufacture them is telling of a company both cares about what its customer needs and is dedicated to the success of its product. In this case, both of those things encourage people to give up fossil fuels and adopt electric mobility, which is heartening. As more people switch to battery-powered driving, though, battery technology should become better and cheaper, and the scale of production should cause manufacturing costs to decrease. Eventually, Nissan could easily see itself breaking even selling the Leaf battery replacements.

Nissan Leaf becomes least expensive 5-seat EV with massive price drop

Mon, 14 Jan 2013

In a roundtable interview today at the North American International Auto Show, Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn announced a $6,400 price drop for the base-model 2013 Nissan Leaf. Last year's base model was $35,200, while the new base-level 2013 Leaf S starts at $28,800. Ghosn says the new prices make the Leaf the least expensive five-seater electric for sale in the US.
Some of the lower cost is due to a difference in content from last year's low-end model to this year's. But a sizable portion can be chalked up to the Leaf's production moving from Japan to Tennessee. The 2013 Leaf is not only assembled in the US now, but its lithium-ion batteries and the car's electric motors are manufactured in the same southern state.
The Leaf SV will be priced from $31,820 for 2013 compared to $35,200 last year. The high-end Leaf SL now starts at $34,840, down from the 2012 model's $37,250. These models also have differences in content. One big one is a new 6.6-kWh charger that reduces charging times pretty dramatically.

2015 Nissan Altima pricing released, V6 gets MPG bump

Wed, 04 Jun 2014

Nissan has announced a range of moderate enhancements for its 2015 Altima sedan, starting with a one-mile-per-gallon increase in the highway fuel economy of the top-tier, 3.5-liter V6 engine. The six-pot now returns 32 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg in the city.
The 3.5 SV and 3.5 SL, the mid and top-end six-cylinder trims, also get NissanConnect with Navigation, blind-spot monitoring and lane departure warning. Prices, though, see a commensurate increase.
The starting price for a base, 2.5-liter four-cylinder Altima has been nudged up by $130, to $22,300, not counting the $810 destination charge. The 2.5 S model is down $130, though, to $22,560. Meanwhile, the top-end four-cylinder models, the SV and SL see their prices increase by $380 and $230, respectively.
