Alexandria, Louisiana, United States

WOW, ONLY 25,485 miles!!  NO RUST, it has digital dash, leather seats with no rips or tears and dash is perfect.  Still has the original nissan belts. Has factory installed alarm system.  I purchased this car in August of 2009 from the original owner who retired from Nissan.  This was his "toy".  He sold it so he could retire to Florida and buy "golf carts" I am selling it to buy a tractor and implements for my new farm.   He had replaced the brakes in 2008 and installed a Monza exhaust .  When I picked it up in Ohio it had 20,592 miles ( see pic of repair order when he had oil changed), drove it to Louisiana with no issues. Have had all oil changes performed at schedule,  alignment serviced and a new battery, remember it has ONLY 25,485 miles!!   The car was made in November of 1982 so, it is 32 years old but looks GREAT, although like I stated above it does have it's parking lots dings and paint chips .The air conditioner was converted and blows ICE cold!   There is NO warranty expressed or implied but I do believe you could drive it anywhere once new tires are installed.  A $500.00 non refundable deposit will be paid at end of auction, with balance due within 10 days when car is picked up or shipped out, with cash or certified funds. The car is advertised locally so mileage could change and auction could end early.  Thanks for your interest and "Happy bidding"  This has been RELISTED due to someone who SCAMED me.  If you don't have at least a history of 3 or more PLEASE contact me before your bid or it will be DELETED.  Sorry,  when I bought this car I thought I would NEVER sell it but things have changed and now, I need the money, it's a great car an a wounderful investment that will only go up in value!  Once again, good luck !!

Asking price for Paul Walker's GT-R from Fast & Furious nearly triples [w/video]

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

The German owner of the only Nissan Skyline GT-R to survive filming Fast & Furious (a.k.a., The Fast and the Furious 4) has put his car up for sale following the death of Paul Walker, Yahoo Autos reports. The original sale price was reportedly an already hefty 300,000 euros ($412,110), but it has since been raised to 1,000,000 euros ($1.37 million).
Despite many well-intentioned efforts, the Skyline GT-R was (and still is) illegal to import for street use in the US, so this R34-generation GT-R and seven others were shipped here without engines and classified as kit cars to sidestep federal law. Once here, the engines were installed, and seven street-legal GT-Rs proceeded to be destroyed during the filming of F&F. But one car, the "hero" car for sale here, was driven by Walker in non-violent scenes and thus is the only GT-R that survived filming.
Then, in July 2009, the federal government cracked down on importers of these cars, seizing almost 50 GT-Rs, including this one, telling owners to export them or risk having them destroyed. The hero GT-R was therefore exported, and its whereabouts have been unknown until recently, when the current German owner allowed it to be featured in a review (watch the German-language video below). You can see the online ad (also German) of the heavily modified GT-R here, where it sits proudly with its sky-high price tag.

Nissan testing experimental dealer with no desks or offices

Wed, 26 Mar 2014

Nissan thinks it has found a better way to sell cars, and it involves stripping showrooms of everything but the cars and sales team. The brand calls the experiment the Nissan New Retail Concept, and it might get tested in the US in a few years.
The concept is relatively simple. Showrooms ditch offices, reception counters, cubicles and desks. Instead salespeople walk around inside and outside the dealer with mobile devices to assist customers and even complete sales. Associates are trained to take immediate responsibility for each visitor they encounter. For example, if owners comes inside with a problem with their vehicle, the employee escorts them to the service department and introduces them.
A dealer in London has been testing the new layout for the last nine months, and so far it reports better customer satisfaction, loyalty and most importantly higher sales. Nissan next plans to launch test stores in Moscow and Stuttgart. Then it will broaden out to more of Western Europe and finally will be tested in the Japan, the US and the Middle East, according to Automotive News.

Nissan Rogue redesigned with three rows for 2014

Tue, 10 Sep 2013

Nissan has been on a roll lately, redesigning its core model line with all-new versions of the Altima, Pathfinder, Sentra and Versa Note released this year. But the Japanese automaker wouldn't leave out the Rogue, its second-best-selling model in the US.
Like the Range Rover Sport, Mitsubishi Outlander and Ford Explorer, the second-generation Nissan Rogue has gained an optional third row of seats for seven-passenger capability. Along with the middle and rear rows, the front passenger seat can also be folded flat for the benefit of cargo capacity, and the cabin has been redesigned for an airier look and feel.
Despite the added space inside, the new Rogue is only marginally larger than the model it replaces, with a 0.6-inch longer wheelbase offset by shorter overhangs front and rear. A lower drag coefficient ought to help reduce wind noise and improve fuel consumption as well.
