Selling my S13..... no real reason other than i have had the car a few years and im getting bored with it and want to do something else...

A little bit about the car... i have had it for 3 years, had a rb26 in it first, got tired of issues, went 2j....  last year on a Bone stock 2jz, stock cams and every thing with this turbo and trans setup the car made 666whp and 689ft lbs and went 9.6 @ 147 on 35 psi...  now the car makes 770whp on c16 35psi and 860whp on e98 same boost.... only been to the track once this year and it was kinda chilly... track wasnt hookin and i only made one full pass... spinning badly and getting in and out of it it went 10.1 @ 154mph.... i has way more in it than that, with a bigger turbine housing, turn it up another 10psi, make 1000+ wheel through the auto... low 8s for sure.

i do drive the car on the street, it stays pretty cool even on the highway...

the chassis pretty clean, though it is an 89 and its starting to show some age. left rear quarter has some rust on the top. and the right rear has some on the bottom.

Preserving automotive history costs big bucks

Wed, 29 Jan 2014 19:01:00 EST

$1.8 million is spent each year to maintain GM's fleet of 600 production and concept cars.
When at least two of the Detroit Three were on the verge of death a few years back, one of the tough questions that was asked of Ford, General Motors and Chrysler execs - outside of why execs were still taking private planes to meetings - was why each company maintained huge archives of old production and concept vehicles. GM, for example, had an 1,100-vehicle collection when talk of a federal bailout began.

Nissan Juke-R pitted against Bugatti Veyron in brilliantly odd drag race

Mon, 10 Jun 2013 12:30:00 EST

The Nissan Juke-R must've been a tough car to build a business case for, yet the madcap little crossover with the heart of a GT-R is now a production reality. Admittedly, we should probably assign some quotes around "production," since the vehicle is being built on a one-by-one on-demand basis at extraordinary cost - at an estimated price of well over $600,000, it has little in common with the already bonkers everyday Juke. We're just happy it exists at all.
With 545 horsepower, we also didn't figure it needed more power. But that apparently hasn't stopped the tuning community, which probably only had to adapt performance adders designed for the GT-R to the mechanically similar CUV. Thus, we end up with this mile-long drag race, which pits a Bugatti Veyron against a Juke-R prepared by an outfit called Shpilli Villi Engineering with a claimed 700 horsepower. That's still well down on horsepower versus the legendary quad-turbo supercar, but the much smaller Nissan also figures to be a lot lighter while boasting similar all-wheel-drive traction. We don't have much more information to go on other than this video, and it doesn't appear that both drivers necessarily got their best runs in, but it certainly makes for jaw-dropping watching. Infiniti brand will finally make its debut in Japan, but not the name

Thu, 14 Nov 2013 08:29:00 EST

Nissan left the automotive media scratching its collective head when it announced that its Infiniti luxury brand would be renaming all of its vehicles, with cars wearing the Q designation and CUVs/SUVs wearing the QX badge. So the G Sedan became the Q50, and the G Coupe became the Q60. The QX56, meanwhile, became the QX80, and the FX crossover became the QX70. It is still thoroughly confusing nearly a year later.
Not content to confuse its US customers alone, Nissan will be fiddling with the name of one of its most revered Japanese-market models - the Skyline. Rebadged for the US as the Q50, and before that as the G Sedan/Coupe, the new Skyline will wear an Infiniti badge. What makes this truly confusing, though, is that the car won't be called the Infiniti Skyline, despite its badging. It won't even be called the Nissan Skyline, anymore. It's now just the Skyline. Apparently, Nissan thinks it can capitalize on the Skyline's link to the Japanese royal family (the Skyline was originally a product of Prince Motors, which provided vehicles for the Emperor and his family), by ditching any brand names and referring to it as its own model, according to Automotive News.
Now, confusion aside, there are things about Infiniti badging in Japan that make sense. Badging all the Nissans that eventually become Infinitis as Infinitis in the first place goes a long way to make the brand seem separate and distinct from its parent company. Speaking to AN, Infiniti's executive vice president of global product planning, Andy Palmer, puts it this way, "We have to treat Infiniti, if you will, in the same [way] that Volkswagen treats Audi. It's not a Nissan-plus. Infiniti has to stand head-to-head with any of those German competitors."
