2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gt Coupe 2-door 3.8l on 2040-cars
Wichita, Kansas, United States
This is a used car, it is a gt, v6, 3.8L motor. Bought it with a rebuild title but needs nothing. This is highway miles as I drive pretty far to work. You will be able to drive this home no matter how far. I just had a newer motor put it recently with very little miles on it. Motor looked brand new when arrived. I paid a lot of money for the motor. And it sounds like it. Pretty powerful motor. Body is nice with normal wear and tear like all used cars. Top of the roof has a needle line crack on top but no licks just a crack. And like said the car is used and has normal wear and tear. Speedometer also has a little crack but nothing big doesn't affect anything. Ac, heat, works good. Has 6 cd changer and a book sub in the back. Has an aftermarket air intake. Sounds and performs like a V8. Pretty nice and fast car over all. Too many new parts to list. Engine light is one, always on from when I bought it 3 years ago, because of the aftermarket airintake. Car is very nice and is a definite head turner. You will have to come and pick the car up. Good luck and enjoy.

2014 Pikes Peak Hill Climb: Practice Day 3
Fri, 27 Jun 2014
Greg Tracy's MiEV Evolution III topped the time sheets almost 14 seconds ahead of third-place Monster Tajima.
On Thursday, qualifying times for six categories were set on the bottom-section switchbacks of Pikes Peak: Electric Modified - near-unlimited showcases of electric-vehicle engineering; Electric Production - electric vehicles "readily available to the public;" Open Wheel - single engine, open wheeled, open cockpit, single seat vehicles; Open - based upon a production or approved-aftermarket-replica vehicle; Exhibition - a prototype or pre-production vehicle limited to one year of eligibility in this class; and Vintage - vehicles and drivelines from 1990 or earlier.
2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Quick Corners And Long Goodbyes
Editor's Note: While driving the Mitsubishi Evolution in the slush and snow of a Michigan winter is a fine enterprise, photographing it in such conditions is usually not fruitful. That's why you'll notice a slight disparity between our wintry text and sunny, California-based photographs of the subject car. Rest assured, both the review vehicle and the photo car are of the same basic Evo GSR flavor.
It was a dreary, gray, barely sufferable winter morning in Ann Arbor, MI. Temperatures hovering just over 30 degrees allowed for snow or rain or some combination thereof at a moment's notice, and the thickly clouded sky hinted at dark secrets while promising nothing. I've never been a rally driver but I couldn't help but feel that this murky, imprecise day was good winter rally weather. I'll admit: I don't usually wake up and look out the window to judge which kind of racing would be best just then, but the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR delivered to my house the day before was coloring the mood of the hour; most of my thoughts ran to where I was going to drive it, when, and how fast.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution will live through 2015
Thu, 29 May 2014If it were only so easy for humans. Mitsubishi has extended the life of the Lancer Evolution X by at least a year. An MMNA spokesperson tells AutoGuide that it is "committed to introducing the 2015 model year Lancer Evolution," noting that production for said models will begin in July. This gives us a year of clarity about the future of a model whose future blinks in and out of existence quicker than a boson particle.
As far as we can tell, the Evo as we know it is definitely going to die, the question is when. In March, Mitsubishi said it "does not have any plans to design a successor with the current concept, as a high-performance four-wheel drive gasoline-powered sedan." What is rumored to fill the hole left by the Evo might or might not be a linear descendent, but is expected to be some kind of hybridized high-performance model about which much has been speculated.
MMNA PR manager Alex Fedorak told Autoblog, "Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) is committed to introducing the 2015 model year Lancer Evolution in the U.S. Production of North American-specification Lancer Evolution models for the 2015 model year will commence in July 2014." Our previous advice still stands, however, even with the extension: If you want one, get an Evo while you can.
