Car is in fair condition. Replaced the engine 3 years ago- only 7k on it since then. It has new tires, radiator, battery, front brakes, rotors, calipers, back brakes, shocks for hatch, front passenger cv joint, clutch bearing. Premium sound system- Pioneer touch screen with Bluetooth and dvd. Fosgate punch 5 way amp 75x4 and 300 sub rms value. Nothing major wrong with car- does need new rear view mirror, new shocks and crank shaft seal has a slight leak in it- cost for repair on seal is 450.00 Two owners, I have owned it for 10 years now and do not drive it much anymore. 2014 Pikes Peak Hill Climb Practice Day 1
Wed, 25 Jun 2014This year the big news about the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is about who isn't showing up. Sebastien Loeb, fresh off his record setting run last year, hasn't bothered coming back (and probably won't unless someone breaks his record). The Millen family is also noticeably absent. Rhys and Rod have been driving here for the past couple of decades but it looks like Rhys is focusing his efforts on Global RallyCross.
Last year Pikes Peak added a fourth practice day on Tuesday to allow drivers to get more time on the mountain. It's an optional practice day, but most drivers show up.
Today, both Time Attack divisions (1 and 2) as well as Unlimited division drove the lower third of the mountain. Pikes Peak Open, Open Wheel, Electric Production, Electric Modified, Exhibition and Vintage all practiced on the middle section, and bikes power sports did the top section.
2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport recalled over brake lamps
Fri, 05 Apr 2013Mitsubishi is recalling certain 2013 Outlander Sport models for a couple of brake-related reasons. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the brake lamps may illuminate continuously or intermittently. On top of that, the NHTSA report states that the vehicle's shift lever could be moved out of the Park position without depressing the brake pedal.
A total of 4,539 Outlander Sport models are being recalled for these issues. All of the affected vehicles were built between June 11 and September 11, 2012.
Obviously, both of these issues can be hazardous. If the brake lamps do not illuminate properly, other vehicles may not realize that the car is stopping. And if the shift lever can be moved from Park without touching the brake pedal, the vehicle could roll away unexpectedly.
