2011 Mini Cooper S Hatchback 2-door 1.6l on 2040-cars
Wilsonville, Oregon, United States
I am ONLY parting with my mini due to being done with nursing school and don't need a commuter car and now need a SUV. I bought the mini with 12000 miles on it and have put all the miles on it from freeway driving. The Mini dealership has done ALL THE MAINTENANCE and had new breaks put on in May before the warranty expired. This car is in top performance shape and I have never had any problems with it!!
It has: Heated seats Sirius Satellite radio Sport package with custom rims Good tires Power everything Rubber mats Harman stereo system Ipod/USB port Buyer responsible for shipping or pickup. I am willing to take the Mini to the Mini dealership for a buyer inspection which I had done when I bought it. Please ask any questions and I will answer to the best of my ability. Thank you |

2014 Mini John Cooper Works Countryman All4
Fri, 11 Apr 2014The standard Mini Countryman is a bit of an odd duck against the backdrop of 'normal' small crossovers like the Mazda CX-5 and the Ford Escape, but I sort of get it. Apply the same winning Mini formula to a CUV, and you get a smaller-than-average entry in the segment, one that is far more entertaining to drive than the norm, more stylish inside and out and pretty expensive when cross-shopped. That list of qualities doesn't appeal to all crossover shoppers, sure, but it intrigues a big enough list that the Countryman has reason for being.
Now, add the expensive John Cooper Works package to the Countryman's already niche goodies list, and Mini starts to lose me. So, I'm getting the softer suspended, taller, generally less dynamically joyful version of the brand's core values, but now you're charging me at least $35,000 ($13k more expensive than the basic, front-drive Cooper Countryman and $7k more than the MSRP of the Cooper S All4 version)? What's that? You're going to make it look like a garish, tippy-toed tuner car in the process? Take my money.
Or, actually, let me keep it. I can swing with a lot of the weirdness that Mini has to offer, but this car pushed me past my limit.
Mini blows up over women applying makeup in cars
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Distracted driving is a very real problem. From drivers with phones dangling from their ears to those constantly adjusting the stereo or dealing with rowdy children in the back seat, anything that diverts attention away from the act of driving is a potential danger. And yes, that would indeed include applying makeup while driving.
Publicis, the advertising agency used by Mini in Mexico, came up with an inventive (or offensive, depending on your point of view) way of reminding female drivers "that there's a time and place for everything." And while we're not quite sure of the veracity of the statistics cited in the video below, or even the necessity of its production in general, perhaps we'll just take it as a reminder to pay attention while driving... no matter what else happens to be on our minds. Or faces, as it were.

2013 Mini Cooper S Paceman All4
Thu, 14 Feb 2013In just over a decade, Mini has expanded its modern range from the singular Hardtop model (launched in 2002) to a full range of little runabouts. The latest of these is the Paceman, and while European Editor Matt Davis gave us the full scoop on this model late last year, we recently spent time with the all-wheel-drive model just outside of Ponce, Puerto Rico.
It's weird, this Paceman. It slots in between the Hardtop and the Countryman (on which its based) in terms of size and functionality, and Mini says that it will appeal to a more style-conscious shopper. Key competitors range anywhere from the Nissan Juke on the low end to the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque on the high end.
After spending lots of time with the Countryman, we're convinced that maxi can still be Mini. And the same is true with this Paceman, too.
