2009 Mini Cooper S 50th Anniversary on 2040-cars
Huntington, New York, United States
I am the original non-smoking owner of this Chili Red 2009 Mini Cooper S 50th Anniversary. I recently moved to New York City and I have no use for it anymore or any place to store it.
The car just hit 56,000 miles the other day. The car has a few scratches on it but nothing that affects the body of the car. Just put brand new Rain-X wiper blades, Oil change, Brake service, all from Habberstad Mini. All maintenance was done by a certified Mini Dealership under full warranty. I ordered the car in 2008 from the factory to Habberstad Mini in Huntington, NY with the following options: -Cold Weather Package (Heated front seats, washer jets, side view mirrors) -Rooster Red/Black Interior -Chili Red Paint/Black Roof/Mirrors -Alcantara headliner -Bluetooth/iPod hookup -Aero Kit with painted fender flares from factory -Coco Floor Mats -Suede eBrake handle -Griots Garage indoor/outdoor car cover More photos upon request. If you are seriously interested in seeing this car please email me and I will get back to you immediately. I have to ask that only serious buyers contact me. Thank you. |

Get lost in Evo's sublime 2013 Car of the Year testing
Fri, 08 Nov 2013Every year Evo stages its Car of the Year test, bringing the best performance cars in the world to one location for an epic shootout. This year the magazine pitted eight CotY finalists against each other on Route Napoleon in Southern France - Evo claims it's the "best road in the world" - and then proceeded to nitpick the smallest of faults on each car until the winner could be named. You see, this year's lineup of machines was just so good that only one car obviously wasn't CotY material from the get-go. Can you guess which one judging from the list below?
- Aston Martin V12 Vantage S
- Audi R8 V10 Plus
Mini announces thoroughly modern engines and chassis for 2014 Cooper
Sun, 29 Sep 2013
The 2014 Cooper will come with a three-cylinder engine and the Cooper S will get a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, both with Mini's TwinPower turbochargers.
We have seen spy photos of the all-new Mini Cooper. We have been teased about its drivetrain. Now we have the engine details confirmed by BMW.
Next Mini Countryman spotted with swirls
Wed, 03 Sep 2014Mini is continuing to update its models onto its latest UKL front-wheel-drive platform that it shares with parent BMW. Here, our spies caught an early glimpse of the next-gen Countryman testing on the new chassis.
Like the rest of the updated Mini lineup, the latest Countryman doesn't exactly show a huge shift in styling from the current version. The front end appears to be slightly more blunt, and the headlights have a redesigned shape. However, behind the A-pillar the differences seem to be pretty subtle. At the rear, the new Countryman also looks to adopt the brand's rounded rectangle taillights protruding into the hatch like on the standard Cooper Hardtop range. While not shown here, our spies claim that Mini is also aiming for a roomier interior for the upcoming crossover so that it can be more competitive in its class.
At least for now, the Countryman is going to be the largest vehicle in the Mini range, according to an earlier statement from chief designer Anders Warming. The CUV is rumored to debut around 2016 with some assembly possibly done at Mini's plant in the Netherlands. Until then, have a look at these spy shots and tell us what you think.
