1967 Mini Cooper Cooper, Hatchback, Green, Auto 1.3l Rhd on 2040-cars
Evans Mills, New York, United States
Perfect investment opportunity for a Mini enthusiast.
I am asking less than fair market value.
I reserve the right to terminate this auction should the vehicle be sold prior to the auction's end.
This vehicle is for sale on the locally.
Email me for more details.
This vehicle is also equipped with an 85 amp alternator to eliminate any electrical issues.
This vehicle does not run and has a "metal" sounding knock. It is an automatic mini however the transmission will not engage into any gear, reverse, etc. The interior has some minor weathering and the driver's seat sinks in when you sit in it. Overall interior is fair. There is some dents that can be repaired on the right front and left rear see pictures for details. The left rear tail light assembly was replaced in February. Some of the trim is missing around the fenders and I have the replacement trim still sitting in the packaging. I also have numerous other spare parts that will go with the car. Vehicle does not have a lien and comes with a transferable New York registration as New York does not issue titles for vehicles before 1981. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs. I can assist in choosing a shipper and will aid in the delivery of the vehicle if sold near the Greater Syracuse NY area (75 mile radius from vehicle location). Vehicle is sold AS IS WHERE IS.

Driving a Mini is most definitely an individualistic choice - one that not everyone would get on board with. So if you're going to go with such a fashion statement, you might as well give it your own sense of style. That's where Mini's new line of accessories come in.

Available for the new third-gen Mini hardtop, the accessories offer buyers the opportunity to customize their retro hatchback as best they see fit. There are roof graphics, accessory lighting, wheel upgrades and mirror caps (like the cartoonish ones pictured at right) just like you would have found in the parts catalog for previous iterations of the Mini, but now the brand is offering four appearance kits it's calling Mini Design Lines.
The kits are color coordinated in either Vivid Green, Speedwell Blue, John Cooper Works Pro (in black, red and grey) and Essential Black and include everything from the interior trim to exterior graphics. They might not be to everyone's taste, but that kinda strikes us as the point. Scope 'em out in the extensive high-res image gallery above and the details in the press release below.
Ask anyone that's driven a classic Mini, and they'll probably tell you that their first reaction to driving it was a lot like the start of this video - whooping, shouting, laughing and a whole lot of smiling. This video, from Jon Quirk, editor-in-chief at Auto Trader UK, highlights the connection between him and his Rover Mini Paul Smith. He really nails the man-machine interface that makes owning a great car so much fun. Besides that, Quirk does a good job of enumerating what is so enjoyable about driving a fun car on a twisting road.

For our British readers, this video is also meant to test the waters for a new format from Auto Trader UK, called "I Bought One." With Quirk's Mini, the car-buying site is looking at telling the story of people and their interesting cars. We think this video is a great start, with high production value and solid content. Head on over to the YouTube channel, and let them know what you think. But first, scroll on down for the entire video on this awesome Rover Mini.
JD Power has released its annual Sales Satisfaction Index Study, and once again Mini and Lexus have taken top honors. Overall, buyers are more satisfied with the auto-buying sales experience than they were last year, with those surveyed reporting an average score of 664 points on a 1,000-point scale. That's up from 648 in 2011. Dealer satisfaction also increased by five points over last year as well.
All told, Lexus brought home an index score of 737, which was high enough to put it atop the luxury brands for the second year in a row. JD Power says Infiniti came in second in that category with a score of 728 and Cadillac rounded out the podium with it's rating of 725. Speaking of Infiniti, that brand saw the single largest jump in sales satisfaction of any brand on the survey, popping up 52 index points over 2011.
Among mass-market brands, Mini ranked highest with a score of 712, followed closely by Buick with 706 and GMC farther down the line with 683. You can check out the full press release below for more information.
