This is probably the cleanest 2002 Mercury Cougar in existence. It was purchased new on 10/28/02 with 90 miles on the odometer by my mother from Southworth Ford Lincoln Mercury in Marion Indiana. It has always been meticulously cared for and garage kept and has never been wrecked or smoked in. It is completely loaded with every option available including all the usuals (windows, locks, mirrors, cruise, tilt, AT, A/C, ABS) plus additional options: 2 tone leather power seats, wrapped steering wheel, and shifter, power sunroof, fog lamps, side air bags, and 6 disc in dash CD player with steering wheel controls. It is also equipped with the rare 35th Anniversary Package which includes: insignia stitched on front seats, 17" aluminum wheels, billet aluminum pedals, a special steering wheel, and floor mats with stitched insignia which are still in the original plastic and have never been unwrapped. Included with the sale is the original owners manual in the case, window sticker, all literature, and the original key tag from the dealer with both original keys and remotes for keyless entry. This car is in great condition and everything works as it should. All maintenance and servicing is up to date including new brakes front and rear, and a new battery and alternator about 3 months ago. This car has obviously been well taken care of and its ready to drive anywhere.
