This is a well cared for 560SL. The last year for this classic model. Many consider the 560SL the best, as it was the largest and most powerful of the 107 series chassis. The color combination of burgandy with tan interior is rare and beautiful. Removable hardtop is as beautiful as the rest of the vehicle; all chrome is in excellent condition; interior is immaculate; all guages function; wood is in beautiful condition with no cracks; optional rear seat and seat belts; chrome rims with Mercedes center cap; Original Becker AM/FM/Cassette; Recent service includes: complete exhaust system; front/rear brakes; tires; tune-up and ignition wires; electric antenna replaced; fuel filter; steering coupler and steering box; There is slight rust bubbling under the door guard moldings which can be seen in the pictures. Other than that, the body and paint are solid and beautiful. This is a well sorted 560SL in excellent condition. Thanks for looking.

2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT Coupe
Thu, 31 Jan 2013
Mercedes-Benz upgraded its SLS flagship Coupe and Roadster for the 2013 model year, and the changes are marked with them new "GT" nomenclature. Both SLS models arrive with a retuned naturally aspired 6.2-liter V8 delivering 583 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque (the horses are up from 563, but the torque remains the same) mated to a revised seven-speed AMG Speedshift dual-clutch gearbox. Rounding out the mechanical upgrades is a redeveloped AMG two-mode adaptive suspension. Physically, the revised models are differentiated by their new "GT" badging, darkened headlight/taillight buckets, red brake calipers, unique wheel colors and high gloss finish on the front grille, exterior mirrors and hood/fender fins. Inside the cabin are new red seatbelts, Alcantara upholstery and contrasting red stitching.
As it is nearly impossible to experience the aluminum gullwing beast on public roads, Mercedes invited out to Southern California's Willow Springs to wring out the 2013 SLS GT Coupe on a racing circuit.
Rare Isdera Imperator 108i flexes its considerable muscles
Mon, 05 Aug 2013The Isdera Imperator 108i is a remarkably rare supercar from the late 80s and early 90s. Born of a Mercedes-Benz concept car, it's powered by a range of AMG-developed V8s, with five to six liters of displacement, depending on the engine. The example shown here, lapping the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, features the most potent 6.0-liter V8 available. And rather than just being driven about on a perfectly clean racing line, it's freaking power sliding!
Yes, there's something eternally childlike about a wedge-shaped supercar from our formative years being flung about a Belgian racetrack. Adding to the appeal is the Imperator's stumpy, periscopic rear mirror, sticking out of the roof. Even after being out of production for 20 years, this is still a wild, wild car and we'd happily snap up the opportunity pilot one of the 36 Isderas that were built. Take a look below for the full video from Spa.
