1972 Mercedes-Benz 280SE 4.5 Saloon

For your consideration is this 1972 Mercedes-Benz 280 sedan with the desirable 4.5 litre M117 V-8. This car has been in dry storage for the last few years and now it is time to make room in the garage. The beauty and styling of the W108 chassis is simply breathtaking, in my opinion, one of the best Mercedes to come out of Stuttgart. This is your opportunity to own a true classis made of metal & chrome... back then when you saw a Mercedes come down the road you knew it was a Mercedes, unlike now when it can easily be mistaken for a Hyundai.

The exterior is in good condition, however the paint is beginning to show it’s age and in my opinion should be repainted. All of the chrome is in very good condition, I would give the brightwork an easy 9/10. The windows are nice and clear with no scratches or hazing. The wheels/hubcaps are in very nice condition.

As seen in the pictures, the interior is in good original condition, while not perfect it will not require too much work to bring it back to outstanding condition.
