I have for sale a 2002 Mercedes Benz s500 it is completely loaded with every option available in its year it has power everything including reclining rear seats auto curtain for privacy massage front seats all seats are heated and cooled it has distronic : when in cruise control it senses the car that it is approaching and slows down automatically that is a s600 option it has rear and front parking sensors navigation 6 disc cd changer push start it has the credit card smart key as well everything works in this car perfectly the only thing wrong with this car and it is in the pictures below is that the screen has a line in it I don't know why it just happened one day while I was driving and there is a crack in the windshield not noticeable at all it has air ride all around works perfect does not lean or sag what so ever brembo brakes drilled slotted rotors 20'' niche wheels with brand new tires all around it is a staggered set all suspension components are in great condition spark plugs have been changed 32k ago transmission shifts smooth and engine runs really good this car is a catch beautiful inside out and runs really well oil changed every 3,000 miles with mobil 1 0w40 fully synthetic no oil leaks I am very strict about the cars I own to have any leaks no dash lights are on !!! now for the appearance part the car used to be gold I had a ex girlfriend that felt like she needed to key it so after that happened I went all out and completely changed the car 360 degrees everything has been done professionally and the paint is still under warrantee for 3 years all the exterior lights headlights/taillights are led and projector is stock xenon I have the lights set up to where people always mistaken it for a 2012 very clean car a lot of time and money has been put into it most the miles are highway miles and the car has been in the family for a while now just changed the tilte over I bought it from my uncle he lived in charlotte nc and had it registered in Illinois because it is cheaper there is no rust anywhere on the car it is always garage kept and waxed every 2 months has amg exhaust tips and spoiler you will not find another car this year mileage this clean it looks brand new and drives brand new the reason why I am selling it is because I moved to northern Virginia and I work in Washington dc and driving this baby almost an hour each day just one way with traffic is not practical I hate to see it go but I need to get a more economical vehicle I have pics of how it looked like before and after this car is for sale locally so I do have the right to end the auction at anytime it is a no reserve auction so happy bidding please be aware of that if you have any questions please call me at

Maybach could become Mercedes-Benz sub-brand
Wed, 22 Jun 2011When you're arriving in a twin-turbocharged, twelve-cylinder Maybach limo, there's no reason you should ever have to be late. Except, maybe, to make a fashionable entrance. But up at the corporate level, the entire Maybach brand is being slowed down as critical decisions about its future are being undertaken.
Last week, we reported that a decision on what path Maybach would take going forward would be due at the start of next month, but the latest reports indicate that the timeframe has been extended as further options are being considered.
The previous options under consideration were twofold: either relaunch the brand with production outsourced to Aston Martin - which suddenly finds itself with excess production capacity - or shut it down completely. And those are still two very real options. Word has it that Aston has put together four concept cars for the Daimler brass to consider, all based on the next-generation S-Class platform (and thankfully not the old one).
Rare Isdera Imperator 108i flexes its considerable muscles
Mon, 05 Aug 2013The Isdera Imperator 108i is a remarkably rare supercar from the late 80s and early 90s. Born of a Mercedes-Benz concept car, it's powered by a range of AMG-developed V8s, with five to six liters of displacement, depending on the engine. The example shown here, lapping the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, features the most potent 6.0-liter V8 available. And rather than just being driven about on a perfectly clean racing line, it's freaking power sliding!
Yes, there's something eternally childlike about a wedge-shaped supercar from our formative years being flung about a Belgian racetrack. Adding to the appeal is the Imperator's stumpy, periscopic rear mirror, sticking out of the roof. Even after being out of production for 20 years, this is still a wild, wild car and we'd happily snap up the opportunity pilot one of the 36 Isderas that were built. Gullwing America turns SLS AMG Roadster into stunning 1955 300 SC redux
Thu, 14 Feb 2013Gullwing America specializes in what it calls "retro styling meets modern technology." It's next demonstration of that is the convertible above, a stylized recreation of the 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SC (inset) supported by the structure of a 2012 SLS AMG Roadster. Commissioned by a client in Eastern Europe, the resulting car is called the 300 SLC.
The hand-formed aluminum bodywork required just a few changes to the SLS AMG Roadster, namely reworking the headlights into a stacked arrangement of LEDs and relocating the pop-up spoiler behind the cabin. The retro grille and long, straight hood evoke the past, the custom exhaust, height-adjustable suspension, 21-inch wheels up front and 22-inch wheels in back, however, stray a little further from history. The 300 SLC will come with a hardtop and be one-of-a-kind, making it even rarer than its inspiration, of which 92 were made.
