Florence, South Carolina, United States

RARE!     RARE!     RARE!     RARE!     RARE!

The best part of these full size S Class Mercedes Benz's is the fact that they have heated power seats that move up and down, forward and back, tilt with power lumbar support and the famous seat glide option.

Combined with a power steering wheel that adjust up and down and in and out the largest of men will find true comfort in this vehicle. I have seen men 6"8' tall weighing 500 pounds drive this ultimate machine in comfort and with grace.

Southern car spending most of it's life here in sunny South Carolina.

Up for sale is a beautiful and extremely rare 1994 Mercedes Benz S350D. This vehicle has a perfect carfax and has only had two meticulous owners in it's lifetime. It has never been in an accident nor had any apint work. It truly is the last of the best.

This L6 Diesel Benz is in exceptional condition. Able to hit a top speed of 116 mph you will never sacrifce power and speed for the diesel engine. Better yet this full size big body will get you over 30 mpg. It is sitting on a near new set of 225/60/r16v tires.

201.3" inches in length...74.3" wide...58.7" high and a full size trunk that will hold 18.5 cubic feet of cargo. (Yes golfing fans you will have not trouble getting four sets of clubs in this bad boy)

The leather seats are soft and subtle and it is apparent the owner had them conditioned on a regular basis. They look as as close to new as any Mercedes Benz I have ever seen. They show almost zero signs of aging or wear.

If you have been looking for a diesel S class then this may be your last chance to ever find one in this condition and with these low certified miles.

Let's face it those who know these cars know they are impossible to find. When you add a two owner... garage kept...not a single flaw...certified carfax miles...this may be the best one left in existence.

On top of that it ios the most sought after color combinations.

The heat and air both work as they should

This vehicle is being sold as-is where-is with no warranty expressed or implied

Here are the things worth mentioning

Has a small ding on the driver’s door ( see picture )

Has a small mark on the rear bumper ( see picture

TThe engine runs like a dream and the transmission shifts flawlessly. This Mercedes looks and drives better than most new cars.

This is a no reserve auction so the highest bidder will be the proud new owner of this BEAUTIFUL and EXCEPTIONALY RARE DIESEL S CLASS!

Mercedes leads in US luxury car thefts

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

Mercedes-Benz makes some fine automobiles. The Silver Arrow'd cars are so good, apparently, that thieves can't help but try to steal them. The German brand is at the top of the charts for luxury car thefts in the US, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau, with New York City leading the way. (And those New Yorkers complain about Detroit being bad!)
The C-Class was the most stolen model, with 485 ganked between 2009 and 2012 in NYC alone, while the E-Class and S-Class (which also boasted the worst recovery rate, at 59 percent) both finished in the top ten. Following the C-Class was the BMW 3 Series and Infiniti G. Not surprisingly, each of these were the most common models in their respective lineups. Los Angeles and Miami are also prime hotspots for luxury car thefts, according to the Detroit News report.
While getting your car stolen is pretty awful, there was one inspiring statistic compiled by the NICB - the average recovery rate across the board was 84 percent, with the Cadillac CTS getting recovered 91 percent of the time.

Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG coming to the New York Auto Show

Tue, 05 Mar 2013

Mercedes-Benz showed off the CLA45 AMG at a private event on the eve of the Geneva Motor Show, but was determined not to let it be photographed. We can talk about it, though - after all, a teaser image was released to promote the new Sony game Drive Club. The CLA45 AMG will use the same powertrain as the A45 AMG, which means a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 360 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque. And that means a small four-door coupe sedan with the highest horsepower-per-liter in the segment. It will shift through the same seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, should also run out of speed at 155 miles per hour and have that three-stage stability control system.
As with its hatch sibling, the CLA is already so aggressive on the outside - and the parent company so anxious not to demolish the sedan's 0.22 coefficient of drag - that not much has been done to the cranked-up CLA. Even the rather thin tires on the standard only get a little less thin on the hotter variant. Inside will be the telltale AMG signs, with lots of red detailing and that flat-bottomed wheel among the giveaways. We'll know more later this month when the wraps come off at the New York International Auto Show.

Mercedes testing C-Class plug-in hybrid modes in Germany

Wed, 07 May 2014

Testing appears to be underway for what would be the first Mercedes-Benz C-Class with a hybrid powertrain. We can see a pair of the prototypes undergoing testing in Germany, with one, a C-Class Wagon, still heavily clad in camouflage and featuring a more noticeable outlet on the passenger side of its rear bumper.
There's also a more production-looking sedan, which features a not-so-discreet flap over its rear-bumper outlet. It's difficult to speculate on power outputs for this fuel-sipping C-Class, although our spies seem to think that this car will feature some combination of a four-cylinder gas engine with an electric motor, although just which four is unclear (note, we wouldn't mind if MB fit its 2.0-liter turbo with some batteries and motors). Regardless, the four-pot/electric motor seems like a pretty reasonable combo, although it probably means that Mercedes won't be challenging the six-cylinder-powered system of the BMW ActiveHybrid3 any time soon.
When the plug-in C-Class arrives later this year as a 2015 model, it will likely offer a full range of driving modes, including both gas or electric, only, as well as a more traditional hybrid mode.
