A/C blows ice cold!!  This Benz has ceramic brakes all around!!  It has brand new Nitto $650.00 performance tires!!! Chrome trim package including a custom push grill!!  The butter soft leather is in fabulous condition with no cracking anywhere!!  Car was stored in the garage with a cover on!!  Extras include floor mats, car cover, and dash cover!!  It has been waxed every couple of months and the paint is in spectacular condition with no dents or scratches anywhere!!  Even the pictures, which look incredible, don't do the vehicle justice!!!  This vehicle dosn't compare with any other ML320 2005 and earlier as it simply stands out head and shoulders above them all.  It is in such great condition it is often times confused as new!!!  A deposit of $500.00 will be required for the winning bidder immediately after auction end.  Arrangements for pick up can be made shortly thereafter but must be picked up within a week after auction end.  No vehicle even compares in the price range for what I am asking!!  The only reason for the sale is that I recently purchased a new Toyota Rav4.  Thanks for looking!!!

Mercedes-Benz killing Maybach in 2013, replacing with S600 Pullman

Fri, 25 Nov 2011

According to an unnamed Mercedes-Benz source speaking with AutoWeek, the German automaker is killing off its Maybach line in 2013.
The unsurprising news comes after the brand was resurrected in 2002, but failed to meet sales expectations with its two core models, the Maybach 57 and 62. Further solidifying its fate, a deal with Aston Martin to aid in the development of future Maybachs fell through earlier this year.
According to the AutoWeek insider, the plan is to continue to sell both Maybach models through the end of 2013, after which the fifth-generation S-Class will go on sale. When that happens, three new variants of the S-Class will be available, including an all-new, range-topping S600 that brings back the Pullman moniker and may be better suited to competing with the likes of Bentley and Rolls-Royce.

UK workers strand car on island of asphalt to keep working

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

Generally speaking, when you illegally park your car, you're likely to get ticketed and towed, but there is probably at least one motorist in Scotland who wishes that was the case. After workers had blocked off a portion of the parking lot for the Edinburgh Waverley railway station, the driver of this Mercedes-Benz S-Class reportedly moved some of the barriers to park in one of the empty spots.
Rather than having the vehicle towed, the work crew simply tore up the asphalt around the leaving just the one parking spot intact, and as you can see in the image above (posted to the Twitter account of Harold Norstad), the crew even built a small asphalt ramp so the car could get off its blacktop pedestal. Since this happened last week, there's no word as to whether the car was eventually moved or towed for the resurfacing work to continue.
Let this be a warning...

In Which Mercedes' Sprinter Becomes A Long-Distance Sherpa
In the wintery wilds of northern Alaska, even the cute little critters want to kill you.
As I am about to nod off on my long leg flight from Minneapolis to Anchorage ahead of driving to the Arctic Circle, the friendly twenty-something Alaskan knitting furiously in the seat next to me pauses and says, "When you're driving up there, don't open your windows." In the dead of winter? I hadn't planned on cruising alfresco, but her warning to keep the glazing snugged against the weatherstripping is one I would take to heart. She continues: "If you leave 'em open, a fox is liable to jump right in. There are lots of rabid foxes up there, and they leap into your car and just Go. To. Town." And here I was, thinking that a curious bear or maybe an ill-placed moose in the road was going to be my biggest potential four-legged threat. In the wintery wilds of northern Alaska, even the cute little critters want to kill you.
