1998 Mercedes Benz E300 Turbodiesel, black with black leather interior, moon roof and 18 inch Brabus rims. I am the 2nd owner, non-smoker, originally a lease car purchased from MB dealer in MI. The car has resided here in Fort Washington, PA for the last 6 years. The car runs great mechanically with a few electrical issues in need of repair. The power locks and sliding moon roof are currently not working. The original factory tape deck went out recently, I have a Pioneer CD head unit ready to install. The AC is also not working (AC compressor replaced). The check engine electronics light is on (fault code P0400), EGR valve, does not effect the drivability of the car. New battery, alternator, belt tensioner, belts, control arm bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, tires, brakes. This car is being sold AS-IS and inspections are welcome. Transportation is the buyer’s responsibility. Please ask all of your questions before bidding. Bidder must have good feedback. A $500.00 non- refundable deposit by Pay-Pal is due after bidding has ended. Full payment is required within seven days after the auction by bank check or wired funds. The car and clear title will not be released until all funds have cleared.

VW looking to MAN up, ditch Mercedes van deal
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Unlike the US, the commercial truck market throughout the rest of the world is chocked full of competitors from many different automakers. Since 2006, Volkswagen has had a fullsize van called the Crafter that was a result of a partnership with Daimler AG and based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. This partnership is supposed to last through 2016, but Reuters is reporting that VW might be looking to end its relationship with Daimler and create its own van in cooperation with German truck and bus maker MAN.
The article says that VW AG has more than a 75-percent stake in MAN, which would essentially be keeping the new commercial vehicle in-house. Even if VW bolts, Daimler still has a deal worked out in the commercial truck industry between its subsidiary Mitsubishi Fuso and Renault-Nissan to supply the other with different trucks.
Rare Isdera Imperator 108i flexes its considerable muscles

Born of a Mercedes-Benz concept car, it's powered by a range of AMG-developed V8s, with five to six liters of displacement, depending on the engine. The example shown here, lapping the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, features the most potent 6.0-liter V8 available. Mercedes to roll out S65 AMG Coupe in July
Mon, 07 Apr 2014We're still a couple of weeks away from the public debut of the new Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe at the fast-approaching New York Auto Show, but already we're receiving word of an even more powerful version in the works. That, of course, would be the S65 AMG Coupe - the twelve-cylinder version of the latest S-Class Coupe, two-door counterpart to the S65 AMG sedan and replacement for the outgoing CL65 AMG.
Like the four-door version rolled out back in November, the S65 AMG Coupe would be distinguished from less powerful vehicles (which, lets face it, is just about everything) principally by its engine: a massive, 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that produces 621 horsepower, 738 pound-feet of torque and cares as much about global warming as an oil-shipping mega-tanker.
Because Merc's 4Matic all-wheel drive system can't handle that much torque, the ne plus ultra coupe would (like the S65 sedan but unlike the S63 coupe) be offered only in rear-drive form. That means it will have that much more trouble getting the power down to the road, but since the Magic Body Control suspension is similarly incompatible with 4Matic, the flagship coupe will get that trick suspension.
