==== relisting because of a non-paying scammer ========= 215k miles Clean California title, currently registered on a car rental company, it was used as a courtesy vehicle for the last 6 months. (less than 2000 miles were added to it during this time) Cold AC. Electrical convertible top Electric windows, mirrors, seats (also heated) Engine was replaced in January (due to head gasket failure) with a newer 2800cc motor from a C280 which only had 85k miles. Runs smooth as butter. Major maintenance done at the same time, including new rear crankshaft seal, valve cover gasket, spark plugs, new radiator (old one was clogged), motor mounts, transmission front seal, transmission filter and gasket change. Known issues: small dent in drivers door, 2 of the convertible top cylinders are leaking oil (the top still works, but it is slow and needs to be "helped" by hand, due to the decreased hydraulic oil pressure), the convertible top also has a 2 small tears about 2 inches long on each side, right interior sun visor is missing the mirror, center arm-rest cover latch is broken plus some other minor scratches from regular use. Sat, 28 Dec 2013It's only been a week and a half since Mercedes-Benz revealed the new C-Class, and it'll likely be a while yet before the replacement for the C63 AMG comes along. But if you want to see a preview of what it'll look like, look no further than the AMG aero kit that has just surfaced.
Expected to debut on the new C-Class at the fast-approaching Detroit Auto Show, the AMG Line Exterior Pack adds a new bumpers front and rear, side skirts, dual exhaust tips, mesh grille, aluminum window frames and - most importantly - 18-inch alloys packing upgraded brakes and fitted to a lowered sport suspension. All of which will help any C-Class look the part, even if the engine remains stock.
2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class revealed again in 1:18 scale
Fri, 10 May 2013There is plenty to look forward to when it comes to the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, but it could end up being a fairly anticlimactic reveal thanks to fully exposed spy shots, a leaked press photo and now images of a diecast version of the luxury sedan. Autoweek.nl has images showing a highly detailed 1:18 scale model of the redesigned S-Class that matches up with everything we've seen so far.
This isn't the first time a model car spoiled a new vehicle's reveal, as the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class and 2013 SRT Viper were both unceremoniously revealed in toy form first. World Car Fans is reporting that the car 2014 S-Class will be officially unveiled on May 15, but at this point, all that's left to wonder about is the official on-sale date and what will be under the hood.
