I am selling this vehicle for a neighbor without an eBay account.  The car listed is her 1994 Mercedes E320 2 door 4 seat convertible she's lovingly cared for the past decade.  The car was purchased for California use and saw road trips to the Napa wine country and the beautiful Lake Tahoe among others.  Today the car sees more limited use as we live in the high country above 4000 feet elevation so the car spends months in the garage hidden from the Wintery snow and winds present from late October until mid April. Now the crossover car and the 4 wheel drive pickup get the use.

So you're looking at the original Emerald green color with it's complementary beige tan interior and matching factory floor mats all recently shampooed and polished and treated to a detail as is occasionally warranted.  The car has been recently serviced and all levels checked and found to be very sound and consistent with it's age and mileage.  This car features all the convenience and safety expected in a car of this caliber and manufacture.  It's a terrific grand touring with the open air experience not found so common these days.  The tan hides are in good condition as are the carpets and dash surfaces and the fine woods since the car is driven both open and closed and garaged.  All instruments and lighting work properly and the glass is all clear and free from defects with the exception of the driver's side headlamp lens which has had a rock strike and has a small star crack.  The crack doen't penetrate so the lens lights properly without getting moisture inside and it's unknown how long it's been there.  The tires are in good condition as are the chrome rims without any curb rash or scratches.  The stereo quit 3 years ago and was replaced with an Alpine CD stereo equipped with an iPod patch cord to enable putting your own tunes through the stereo.  All power locks, mirrors, windows, seats work as they should with no issues.  The power top completely stows itself and moves covers as directed by it's electric motors and it's program.  It is a one person operation which only requires the manual latching and unlatching when appropriate.  The top is black over the green car.

Mechanically the car features a 3.2 liter inline 6 cylinder engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission which accomplishes mileage in the low to mid 20's MPG and has an 18.5 gallon fuel tank.

This is as pleasing an automobile to drive as it is to look at and if you're here in this category looking for a well cared for Mercedes with the 4 seat convertible experience to enjoy for the foreseeable future then please bid with confidence on this very desirable colored one.  Thank you for visiting here and Good Luck Bidding!!!

Mercedes working on new inline-six engines

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Mercedes-Benz will make a return to the inline-six-cylinder engine game, according to a report from the UK's AutoCar. It's not clear what's prompting the phasing out of the current array of V6s.
We'll see the first inline-six from Mercedes in next-generation E-Class, set to debut in 2016. Following that, it'll arrive as part of a mid-cycle refresh for the C-Class in 2017. What's particularly special about the new inline-six is its modular nature, which will allow Mercedes to eventually spinoff three- and four-cylinder options, with the three-pot arriving alongside the new inline-six.
In other news, AutoCar uncovered some details on the next C-Class AMG, which will ditch its excellent 6.2-liter, AMG V8 in favor of a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8, although we've already told you about that. What we didn't know at the time, though, was that the 4.0-liter would be paired first with a new, seven-speed AMG Speedshift transmission and offer all-wheel drive. AC also reports that a nine-speed Speedshift is in the works.

How could a lifted Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG be more awesome? Add an axle

Fri, 01 Mar 2013

We are fully confident in saying that this will be the most amazing thing you see all day. First of all, it's a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen - in AMG spec, no less. And it's being shown off in high-definition video glory, blasting through the desert, jumping over sand dunes, and generally being awesome. But here's the kicker: It has six wheels. Three axles. And they're all driven. Holy $%!#.
Under the hood is AMG's usual 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8, and total output is rated at 536 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque. That's impressive and all, but do keep in mind that the G63 6x6 weighs in at 8,322 pounds or, you know, the weight of two E-Class sedans. Combine that with its 18 inches of ground clearance, 37-inch tires and five locking differentials and you've got a vehicle capable of, well, everything you've ever imagined or will ever imagine for the rest of your life.
But the goodness doesn't stop once you open the doors. Oh, no. This thing is fit for a king - or a sheik, more appropriately - with ultimately luxurious seating for four. The rear bench seat has been removed in favor of two bucket seats with a fixed console in the middle, and the rear seats have been moved back beyond the usual B pillar to allow for more legroom.

Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is Affalterbach's first big leap into the little pond

Tue, 05 Mar 2013

The recent history of AMG is turning out amped-up versions of Mercedes-Benz offerings that would hardly ever be mistaken for their sedate counterparts. Sure, you'd need to pay attention to pick a G-Class from the G63 AMG, but dual side-pipes are a quick giveaway. The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG is not only a new era in Affalterbach's attention on smaller cars, it is probably also the most subtle transformation we can think of in the line-up.
Low and chunky enough in standard guise to make a sporting impression, the aesthetic makeover is confined to black trim around the lower rim of the hatch, black wheels with red brake calipers and a single, rectangular exhaust tip on either side of the diffuser. It's easier to make a positive ID inside, where the flat-bottomed steering wheel, red seatbelts and red-rimmed details say, "You know what I am..."
If the car is running, though, it won't take but a second. The 2.0-liter turbo spitting 360 horsepower and 332 pound-feet will grumble through a sport exhaust at idle, and bellow through the same on it's way to a 0-60 time of less than 4.5 seconds. And if you need something that looks a little harder - and you want those quad pipes - then the A45 AMG Edition 1 is the treasure you seek. There's a press release below for all the info you'll need until the hot hatch goes on sale in Germany later this year, and photos for the rest of us while we wait to find out if we'll get a chance to buy it.
