1992 E 300 Te 4 Matic Wagon on 2040-cars
Maryland Heights, Missouri, United States
|Here is a very clean and rare to find 300 te 4 matic wagon i have invested 7 k in new motor tires shocks etc. wagon drives and runs great. Still needs tlc on body and sunroof adjustment. Before i brought it some one had disengaged the 4 matic but is all there and transmission sfits strongly. The gas mileage is wonderful. the interior is in great condition. I priced it to move quickly and will help in shipping if out of town. With a little more invested this wagon will be like new and worth close to 10k or more and will be a future collectible car.I will send updated pictures upon request. It has been raining here for [ast two days.
I have all paperwork on everything i have done to the wagon. The previous owners have removed the front trans axle and install new front suspension. The work done on motor was a new head new gaskets new bolts water pump brackets and radiator hoses. then a full tune up cap rotor wires and battery. i replace the under hood insulated pad also. I install new driver side rear window track and new shocks on the rear hatch. All options work on car but cruise. no service or warning lights are on. I have a professional company service all my cars and keep detail paperwork. I have new tires and replace pads. the body news touch had a small dent in passenger rear but is fixed only needing paint. The moon roof needs adjusting goes up but at times gets stuck going down again. The doors shut perfectly and no tears in seats. The third seat functions correctly. the parts alone was quite expensive with labor. leaks no fluids and shifts good. Hope this helps and if i had to drive any where would get in it and go with out any concerns. Currently has been my daily driver and drove to Chicago and average 26 mpg.

The all-new 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, designated W222, is one of the most highly anticipated debuts of its model year. Every generation of the flagship sedan has broken new ground in technology and innovation for the entire industry, and the German automaker appears determined to raise the bar much further with its latest arrival as it promises to deliver "the best automobile in the world." Mercedes-Benz has just released nearly two dozen interior images of the new sedan, showing off style in design, craftsmanship in execution and pioneering advancements in technology.
Unlike all previous generations - the first S-Class officially arrived in 1972 - the 2014 model completely discards a traditional instrument cluster and replaces it with two high-resolution color displays in 8:3 format with a screen diagonal of 12.3 inches (the outgoing model's gauges were a mix of digital and analog). The left unit displays traditional analog gauges (digitally, of course) while the right unit is reserved for infotainment and comfort settings with the automaker's all-new mBrace2 - a cloud-based entertainment and information delivery system that is rolling out this year.
Mercedes-Benz is preparing a major product offensive to counteract lagging sales in the Chinese market, aiming 20 new or updated models at the People's Republic in the next two years, according to a report by Reuters. The plan is part of MB's so-called 2020 Initiative, which will see the Stuttgart-based manufacturer dump 2 billion Euros ($2.67 billion) into its Chinese market vehicles in a bid to boost sales to 300,000 units by 2015.

Were it to succeed, China would become the largest market for the Silver Arrow, outpacing Germany and the United States. Leading the charge will be the redesigned E-Class, which is set to launch in China this week. That will quickly be followed by the S-Class, and eventually by the GLA-Class in 2014.
Mercedes has struggled in China, especially relative to its German competition, BMW and Audi. Where Mercedes saw a mere four-percent increase in 2012 sales to 206,150 units, Audi was up a staggering 32 percent, while BMW's numbers jumped 41 percent. While some voices, according to Reuters, accuse Munich and Ingolstadt of boosting their numbers through hefty incentives, the fact remains that Mercedes was just walloped by its competitors last year.
We are fully confident in saying that this will be the most amazing thing you see all day. First of all, it's a Mercedes-Benz G-Wagen - in AMG spec, no less. And it's being shown off in high-definition video glory, blasting through the desert, jumping over sand dunes, and generally being awesome. But here's the kicker: It has six wheels. Three axles. And they're all driven. Holy $%!#.
Under the hood is AMG's usual 5.5-liter twin-turbocharged V8, and total output is rated at 536 horsepower and 560 pound-feet of torque. That's impressive and all, but do keep in mind that the G63 6x6 weighs in at 8,322 pounds or, you know, the weight of two E-Class sedans. Combine that with its 18 inches of ground clearance, 37-inch tires and five locking differentials and you've got a vehicle capable of, well, everything you've ever imagined or will ever imagine for the rest of your life.
But the goodness doesn't stop once you open the doors. Oh, no. This thing is fit for a king - or a sheik, more appropriately - with ultimately luxurious seating for four. The rear bench seat has been removed in favor of two bucket seats with a fixed console in the middle, and the rear seats have been moved back beyond the usual B pillar to allow for more legroom.
