2001 Mercedes Benz CLK320 Convertible with less than 63,000 miles. Non smoker. Brand new Michelin Defender tires (4) with Discount Tire Certificates, the top is less than 1 year old. Automatic transmission. Power top. Cold Air, heater works fine. No dash lights on. Drives like a dream. Cosmetically it has a few scratches, like 2 on the trunk lid, one small chip on the front bumper corner the size of a dime. The leather is in good shape although it does show some wear from getting in and out. Overall the car is nicer than the average 2001. CD cartridge does not come out on it's on, the motor still works probably a minor fix. For the money, you can looks like a million bucks for very little. Clear Texas title, clean carfax. Front bumper has some clear coat flaking. It even has side airbags. All windows and headrests go up and down. Registration and inspection are both good for a long time. Mercedes calls CLA 'best launch in 20 years' as it warns dealers of tight supplies
Fri, 13 Dec 2013It's still in the early going, but it's looking more and more like the 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA is a verifiable home run for the German brand. According to a new report from Bloomberg, the new small car isn't just widening the sales gap between Mercedes and BMW, it's attracting a new, younger breed of customers into the brand's showrooms. But that early success is straining supplies of the turbocharged four-door.
Dealers have been warned that the first half of 2014 will see limited supplies for CLA, with a letter to dealers indicating that "tight inventories and low days supply" will exist from February through June, despite the car's Kecskemét, Hungary plant running at full tilt.
"This is our best launch in 20 years," said Steve Cannon, the US boss for Mercedes. "The CLA has been a phenomenal success right out of the gate." The numbers certainly support that. We reported in early October that Mercedes moved 2,300 CLAs in its first week on sale, and now Bloomberg is saying CLA sales were almost singlehandedly responsible for Benz's November sales gains. Mercedes' annual sales are up 14 percent through the November, and it's enjoying a healthy 7,600-car lead over BMW.
2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup shows its freshened face
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Mercedes-Benz showed us its redesigned 2014 E-Class more than a month ago, but the Detroit Auto Show finally gave us a chance to see the full family of mid-size luxury cars and wagons in the flesh. Dieter Zetsche introduced the cars, including sedan, coupe, convertible and station wagon, on stage showing the stylish new design direction.
