This is an excellent 1997 Mercedes C280 with 71K miles. Within the last three months it has had new Michelin tires, wheels, air conditioner compressor and dryer. The A/C blows ice cold. Power everything. Tinted windows. AM/FM CD with ipod interface and Sirius satellite box (no current subscription). If you know these vehicles then you know that 71K miles is just starting out as these C280's have a reputation of going for 250K+ miles. This car is ready to drive anywhere but does have a couple cosmetic issues. It could use a new headliner as the one in there now is pinned up (~$750) and it could use a slight rust repair by the sunroof (~$1000). I have taken the cost of these repairs into the price of the vehicle already. You could drive this car as is for a couple years before repairing these issues. I have owned this C280 for 6 years and the last 40K miles. It was my wife's daily drive until we upgraded to a 2003 C320 Wagon a couple weeks ago otherwise she would still be driving it. Vehicle is sold as-is where is.

2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class lineup shows its freshened face
Mon, 14 Jan 2013Mercedes-Benz showed us its redesigned 2014 E-Class more than a month ago, but the Detroit Auto Show finally gave us a chance to see the full family of mid-size luxury cars and wagons in the flesh. Dieter Zetsche introduced the cars, including sedan, coupe, convertible and station wagon, on stage showing the stylish new design direction.

Test drive the Mercedes SLS AMG Electric Drive with Chris Harris
Thu, 11 Apr 2013It's hard to not like the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT. The all-aluminum coupe is fitted with a wonderful naturally aspirated 6.2-liter V8 delivering 583 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. Not only does the burly combustion engine launch the two-seater to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds, but it does so with one of the world's greatest exhaust soundtracks as it roars, burbles and cackles down the road.
But what happens when Mercedes-Benz takes away the V8 and its accompanying fire-burning song? Stripped of one of its most appealing assets, does the SLS lose its soul?
Chris Harris recently had the opportunity to take the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Electric Drive for a track spin in Europe. Sans gasoline, but with four electric motors providing a combined 740 horsepower (737 pound-feet of torque), all-electric all-wheel drive coupe uses sophisticated torque vectoring and a multi-mode operating system to put oversteer - drifting! - back into the equation. Mercedes to roll out S65 AMG Coupe in July
Mon, 07 Apr 2014We're still a couple of weeks away from the public debut of the new Mercedes S63 AMG Coupe at the fast-approaching New York Auto Show, but already we're receiving word of an even more powerful version in the works. That, of course, would be the S65 AMG Coupe - the twelve-cylinder version of the latest S-Class Coupe, two-door counterpart to the S65 AMG sedan and replacement for the outgoing CL65 AMG.
Like the four-door version rolled out back in November, the S65 AMG Coupe would be distinguished from less powerful vehicles (which, lets face it, is just about everything) principally by its engine: a massive, 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that produces 621 horsepower, 738 pound-feet of torque and cares as much about global warming as an oil-shipping mega-tanker.
Because Merc's 4Matic all-wheel drive system can't handle that much torque, the ne plus ultra coupe would (like the S65 sedan but unlike the S63 coupe) be offered only in rear-drive form. That means it will have that much more trouble getting the power down to the road, but since the Magic Body Control suspension is similarly incompatible with 4Matic, the flagship coupe will get that trick suspension.
