THIS IS A 1984 MERCEDES-BENZ 500 SEL. A VERY RARE CAR CONSIDERING THEY DID NOT MAKE ONE LIKE THIS IN THE USA. THIS IS A GERMAN MODEL THAT WAS IMPORTED TO THE STATES AND HAS NO PROBLEM GETTING REGISTERED. I HAVE A CLEAN CLEAR FLORIDA TITLE. I HAD TO USE ALL ZEROS FOR THE VIN BECAUSE IT'S AN IMPORT CAR. THE VIN # IS WDB12603712037041. THE CAR NEEDS SOME TLC BUT IN GREAT SHAPE CONSIDERING THE YEAR. IT WAS A PROJECT CAR FOR ONE OF MY TENANTS AND THEY OWED ME 3 MONTHS RENT SO HE TURNED THE TITLE AND CAR OVER TO ME. THE MOTOR RUNS WELL. IT DOES LEAK A LITTLE OIL BUT YOU WON'T HAVE A PUDDLE IN THE DRIVEWAY AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GREAT WITH NO ISSUES. THE A/C SEEMS TO BE WORKING FINE AND HAS A NEW RADIO IN IT. THERE ARE 20" GIOVANNA RIMS WITH ALMOST NEW TIRES ON THEM, A GREAT LOOK FOR THE CAR. THE LEATHER IS IN GREAT SHAPE AGAIN CONSIDERING THE YEAR. WITH A LITTLE TLC YOU WILL HAVE A BEAUTIFUL CLASSIC CAR AND YOU CAN TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE LOW COST ANTIQUE INSURANCE.

Next Mercedes-Benz C-Class to get diesel, hybrid versions
Tue, 16 Apr 2013Mercedes-Benz is planning a more aggressive product strategy for its next-generation C-Class range. "We were fighting the 3 Series with two arms tied behind our back, and now we will change that," Steve Cannon, the automaker's US CEO, told Automotive News in a recent interview.
In addition to offering more body styles of the new C-Class, AN reports that the revamped Mercedes will also be offered here with hybrid and diesel powertrains. Currently, the C-Class comes in coupe and sedan variants, with only gasoline engines. The BMW 3 Series, however, is available as a sedan, coupe, convertible and wagon, and offers buyers the choice of gasoline, diesel (the upcoming 328d) or hybrid power.
Mercedes-Benz will show the next-generation C-Class at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, with sales of the US-built sedan following in August. Coupe, convertible and hybrid models will follow in early 2015, and while diesel and all-wheel-drive versions are planned, no specific timetable has been released regarding availability.
Forza Horizon announces January Recaro Car Pack with LFA N"urburgring Edition

It'll be up for download on Xbox Live on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 for 400 MS Points. As usual, if you have the Forza Horizon Season Pass you can get them all free, and Season Pass holders will also get a bonus car that's not pictured: the 2009 Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster.

Maybach lost upwards of $500k on each vehicle sold
Wed, 08 Feb 2012Daimler is shuttering Maybach in 2013 after seven years of production. In that time, the company's ultra-ultra-luxury arm managed to sell just 3,000 units, and CAR reports Daimler lost somewhere around $500,000 on each and every one of them.
Even with a ludicrous price tag of over $370,000 for an "entry" Maybach 57, the brand couldn't quite recoup the dizzying $1.33 billion Daimler poured into it since its (re)inception. Rumors ignited over a possible tie up with Aston Martin that would have resulted in a range of new and attractive models, but Daimler has instead decided to snuff out Maybach altogether.
We can hardly blame them.
