I have owned this car for many years now, I am a private Mercedes Benz collector and I am trying to reduce the size of my collection. I am selling this 1967 Mercedes Benz 230. This 230 is hard to find there are very few of them made. Most that you see are 220S of the same fin-tail bodies. But this has a better and larger engine its the 230 made for the American Market in the late 60's. It has a standard 4 speed transmission manual shifter on the floor, hard to find they are usually on the column. It does have rust in regular areas such as the trunk. And the rear driver side seat does have rust but that is the only floor board that has rust all remaining 3 floor boards are rust free. I have very detailed service records with all the work that was done on this car. I fully restored the engine as well as the WHOLE brake system. I replaced all the brake rotors and the brake lines restored the brake booster and changed all the calipers and brake pads. Both Carbs have been fully restored and adjusted to idle correctly the whole fuel system has been flushed out and new filter have been put in. And the fuel pump has been restored as well. All the insides of the engine have been taken apart inspected replaced if needed and restored to original factory settings. And I only use original Mercedes Benz parts NO AFTERMARKET. I had the whole engine removed taken apart and fully restored at a professional Mercedes Benz shop and I have the records showing all the work done. The suspension system was also fully replaced. So the only thing that would need attention at this point is the body of the car to make it perfect. I have kept everything original to the car nothing has been replaced to upgrade the car to new car settings such as the radio or stereo. Still has all the original radio. I have a clear title the car has never been in a accident has no body work or damage done to the car. I have the car listed for sale locally as well so I reserve the right to cancel and end this auction if the vehicle is sold locally before the end of this auction.
